tell me of your most amzing or most retarded kills, missions, awesome formations, and/or deaths
I'll start:
Once upon a time in the h2h, I upped from one of our bases gained sum alt, and headed out to deack/suppress an airfield for capture, so i get there at the base and after fending off emy fighters and dodgeing flak and finally de-acking the base I manage to get shot down by a con who upped from another base and snuck in there and snuffed me:( .I bailed and landed on the emy runway instead of towering out i decide to run on down the the runway to the SW spawnpoint where i see an emy C47 upping so i close and start taking shots, i nailed his engine and cockpit multiple times he tries to climb too soon or did sumthing weird and crashed and died,:lol , that's kill number 1 on foot with my .45 , then i see same guy try to up in a a6m2, now i know that the zero is not what you would call "durable" in any sense of the word, but i didn't expect to actually blow him up with my .45! :D (this H2H had mucho grande ammo) so i got me two kills on foot with my m1911! lol of course then he was quite pissed as he then got into a panzer and chased me all the wasy to shore, luky me, i called in sum airsupport which made 'em change his mind about pursueing me.
this story isn't all that good, but it's just a starter.

my first ever kill in AH, in a 51 with rockets (yes, i was a noob, and i did think they were guided missiles :D).
niki dives on me, just misses me, i figured out how to select the rockets, and shot them all off in his general direction. one of them hit him at 2.5k, and everyone in the area cracked up laughing...
...although funny, it really screwed with my game for a few weeks, i kept trying to figure out why my missiles weren't hitting anyone:huh

Some of my craziest kills were spent in the wee hours of the night, usually I'm hallucinating from lack of sleep or sheep or something and when this happens, I don't see planes, just the faces of my ex girlfriends.

While defending a vbase in a panzer I managed to time a shot just right and kill a moving m3 by shooting thru the windows of a blown up building at about 1.5 k. Also managed to sneak a Vbase once with the help of a friendly aircraft to distract the panzer sitting on the middle of field I drove my M3 in with the resupply convoy and he never noticed me.

while i was quite new (2 months or so ago).. I am over an enemy base with my mossie.
I drop my ords and commence trying to get a few kills, after a bit i loose most of my important parts (off the mossie).
Im stuck in this sweeping right hand turn and eventually the entire rear section of the mossie is toast as i flutter to the ground backwards and spinning.. i decide i need to bail and about the time i hit the silk the plane also hits the ground .
system message reads something to the effect
xxxx shot you down
you shot down xxxx
you have landed succesfully
fbplmmr landed a mosquito w/ 2 kills
you have been captured
im not sure about the order of the system messages but i was beside myself laughing
a fella named 99mudd can confirm part of this because he pm'd me asking how the heck i landed that and i had no idea how to tell him i didnt know what happened (he was one of the player xxxx)
if id have known how i would have screen shotted the system messages
and mudd .. im sorry i didnt know how to answer you (im still not real sure how to talk to the "enemy"but i think it involves . cpid )

On my way in a goon to a base we were about to capture, a set of low flying B17's came barrelling in at me as I was huggin the hillside. The buffs flew over me from my high five to my high eleven, ball turrets blazing away in a vain attempt to mow me down. He missed me, but he didn't miss the hill. *SMACK!*:D

You can either try channel 200 (type that into one of your radio text boxes 1-4), its the open cross country channel (what used to be chan1) - but not everyone has it tuned.
The other possibility is private message, type the ingameID into one of the radio boxes (either text or voice work) - the text will appear white.

I was taking off one time in an F4U, when a low C2 flashes across my line of sight at ~90 degrees deflection. I'm still on the ground rolling when I squeezed off the trigger and still manage to light him up. I got up, he went in.

Was tooling around in a jet one night, hunting half a dozen milkrunners who kept sneaking bombers in on the deck and nooking my hangars. Flew around a few different enemy bases, couldn't find a soul, and headed for the next nearest field. Come in at just a few thousand feet, screen starts to stutter as bombers and 110s start spawning on the runway directly ahead of me... MISHUN! I come down on them at 600mph, and in the next few seconds, erase the entire mission in one fell swoop.
Quite proud of myself, and well aware that things like this are often repaid in kind once the victims realize what's happened, I race for home, where I hurry, scrub my speed off, dump flaps, get the gear down, touch down with a chirp, then a bang, then 2 more rapid bangs... and slide off the runway at 200 mph, into the local flora. ScrreeeeeBang Bang WHUMP.
Yaaaay me. I think I've got all the criteria in that one sortie.

Had a first, at least for me happen the other day. Raptor and I were out tooling around in the 38s and got mixed into a fight. In my typical fashion I ended up with a guy on my tail. Raptor was on that guys tail. Somehow the timing was just right so that when I exploded, the guy shooting me exploded from Raptor's guns so that all the message said was that I'd crashed. No one got the kill.

one time i had half a zero on fire and still managed to outmaneuver and kill a spit and if memory serves me, i manged to ping up the guy you caught me on fire.:)

Was in H2h one night in a spit 16. 2000 rounds of cannon and no burn rate on fuel. Didnt go over 10k and was just playing around. That night was very special i couldnt miss a shot it was like the game was in slow motion. The other guys at first were furballing shooting each other but after i killed everyone three time the hunt was on. I was in the air for a really long time if you ask i have no idea. Their were a couple of good sticks but not that many in the room. Make a long story short landed 61 no vulches and i had 7 guys on me the hole time.

craziest kill i have is on myself...was grabbing alt in an f6f to defend against cv, went to grab a beer and i noticed i was climbing real slow so i checked my ord..low and behold i somehow selected eggs :P. I was about 7k at this point and I saw 3 juicy TBM"S below me so i salvoed my eggs off and turned around and dove for some pwnage..next thing i know i hear a loud bang and Im a smoking wreck... I popped the chute and looked around, i had hit a friendly pt boat when I dumped my ord in a slow climb from 7k..WHISKEY TANGO ALFA?

a squaddie and I were flying along and came upon about 4 groups of Lancs, so we dumped our ord and started to dive on them, all of a sudden 2 flights just disapear and my squaddie is saying he just picked up 6 kills. I'm almost certain that when he dropped his 2x1000lbers one or both hit one of the buffs and caused 2 formations to just go poof lol They were at lvl flight around 10,000' . Anyways that was the craziest thing I have seen as far as kills go, talk about perfect timing lol. I wish I had only been running film at the time so we could go back and double check cause I'm almost certain that's what happened. If they would have been proxy kills I would have picked them up cause I was lead and closer to the buffs the whole time

lol we were talking about this lastnite!
Before our squad went Rook, I was in the Birds Of Prey Fellas...
We were defending a base from a Rook raid and I was in the Shore battery firing at the incoming CV. Suddenly from in front of me Lancdive was in his Lancasters bombing our GVs, So I popped a shot and WHAMMO... Down goes Lanc!
That was the luckiest shot ever but it was funny watching him cuss me out on 200 afterwards

Ive also nailed some airplanes with my main tank gun also, But that was the funniest story so far I have.

another good one. I was in a tiger and drove out to the runway, right behind where the planes spawn and just sat there shooting AP rounds at the planes as they spawned, I ended up getting tracked, but I stayed to get more kills. As the base got more and more active the enemy planes began strafing me, I counted 15 kills of people that ran there plane into my tank lol not including the 20 or so others that I got with my main gun. But I was just cracking up at the people that rammed me lol ended that sortie with over 40 kills total at least 15 were caused by them ramming me LOL

I hit a bf-109K4 once, and as he was tumbling to the ground in pieces, he started firing cannon rounds, one of them killed me.

Went AFK while autoclimbing a zeke, came back at 25k and dove straight down onto some bombers under me, I got alot of speed and pulled my wings hard and they both snapped off turning me into zee kamikaze bull3t and i crashed into one of the bombers...mission success.

I was sitting in a Panzer IV on a ridge overlooking an enemy airfield, shelling the AA guns on the near side of the field with HE rounds when I see an F4U-4 (back when perk planes were IDed out to 6k) coming in for a landing on the far runway. Given reload times I figure I have two shots so I elevate the gun and take a ranging shot, then I make my best guess adjustment and fire the second HE round. It lands on the ground right at the juncture of the F4U's fuselage and trailing edge of the wing .
You have shot down Widewing. (my memory isn't perfect, but I am pretty sure it was Widewing. It was certainly a name known to me)
He got a TBM with a 2,000lb bomb and got revenge on me for it though. :lol

Was on one night a while ago, the MA was down so everyone was in the BUMA. No perkies in there so everyone... EVERYONE, is either in a Tiger or a 262.
I was in TT, a regular Tiger war it was in there too, and 262's are straifing us all over the ground. Raise my main gun at one, give it a whole load of lead and let off a round.
Kabooom.
Duece goes down.

Back when AW was still around I was playing it and AH one night I had upped in AH and flew for a bit. It was squad night time in AH so I go to AH and we up a big mission for a base capture. We all hit the runway and I hit the button on my joystick for engine start and BOOM all 25 plus of us are back in the tower all going WTF. I look at my text and it says you have killed XXMAW over and over and over again.
I forgot to change my joystick profile and dropped a bomb instead of starting my engine. We all still got a ROLF when we think about the time I killed the whole squad.

In my first weeks in here I was determined to kill something with rockets. I was lucky to hit the ground with them sortie after sortie. After much frustration hard work looked like it was finally going to pay off. Im in on a base capture with several Rooks and I see an enemy panzer. I nose my Pony over and light off a rocket. It flys at the panzer like its a Hellfire. I get a slight grin as Im sure of my first rocket kill. At the last possible second a Rook Pony flys over the panzer and my rocket strikes him right in the cockpit. I think I drove PT boats the rest of the night.:cry

Last night I was in a Niki. I was completely out of ammo. I was leaving a vehicle base (knight I believe) when I saw a friendly Goony. Shortly I heard the Goony ask for my help. There was a bad buy FW190 turning in on him. I told the Goony driver I was out of ammo but the bad guy doesn't know that so I'd do what I could. I dove in on the 190 and he broke off the Goony. I chased the 190 around for awhile getting so close I could read his clipboard! We got lower and lower until the ground reached up and swatted him. I laughed, he died and the Goony driver was very greatfull.

In a tiger with my tracks shot out sitting at a base. Along comes a set of 3 b17s over the base at about 500 ft. I shot 2 down with the main gun in tracking shots as they crossed over the base.

Was defending a base in an osti. Get 3 kills before main gun crew gets wiped out. Get 2 more using the little hull gun. Between town and the field, the right side gets tracked, but the guy augers, and i get the proxy... hmmmm interesting. Base gets captured, then the left side gets tracked.... i go and get a beer. Come back and i had 10 kills, 5 from the guns, and 5 augers. Them crazy bishes really wanted me dead! :lol

In AH1 I landed 6 kills in a goon while flying in NAZGUL. I kept looping and skimming trees watching the cons explode on Maples.
Also, when I was in NAZGUL, I took a Hellcat to knock out a cv. I was scanning the water, found the reported TF, and dove on the CV. Low and behold at 8k I relize there's a mission upping. I dropped 2k and the rockets for 26 kills. Ack got me.
Shooting down FBWar's 262 with a Rocket from a F6F.
Funniest was what happened to FireHwk. Before the change over to AH2, Wax and his Hell Gods came to Rookland for about 5 months. Wax and I met at the Indy con and would always think up some crazy missions. We were both sick of being stuck on Trinity for two weeks. We jabo'd Tanktown. Wax ended up getting TopGunz who was camping behind "his favorite knoll". I see a lone Tiger rtb'ing and about 100 yards from the base I drop 2k. "SYSTEM: you have shot down FireHwk#1". Oh the WHINES from this ball baby were all over Channel 1. Wax and I still talk about this kill to this day.

One evening, some time ago, I jumped into a shore battery to fire on an enemy fleet. A formation of B-17s is coming in low, headed directly for my battery. I track it, aim slightly ahead and fire one round. It hits directly on the nose of the lead Fortress and with one big blast, 999000's entire formation disappears.
We both marveled at it...

I once hit F6F in the nose in similar fashion. I had my stick full forward and the full traverse speed of the battery was just enough to match the Hellcat's flight path. I frantically tapped the trigger as I had just fired at an enemy fleet. When I saw the hit sprite I couldn't believe it at first. :)

Yep. Killing the plane that shot me down as they ditch themselves trying to finish me was a pretty good one :)

There I was, inside a Tiger tank when it first came out.
I've heard from some people that unlike the Panzer the Tiger was very tough against field ack and it could prove to be a formiddable base-suppression unit.
So I rolled me Tiger downhill to enemy base.
Unfortunately I saw an enemy Panzer too late. I'm in the middle of the enemy base and he knocks my tracks out. I turn the turret just in time before the Panzer deals a death blow. Boom, we fire at each other. My turrets is out, but the Panzer bites the dust.
Now, my tank, a heap of smoking metal, immobile and neutralized is just sitting there, in the middle of enemy run way. Acks going ping ping boing boing against the hull.
All of a sudden, enemy planes just drop around me.
Boom! Bam! All those bombs and rockets! Woops friend, close but no cigar. Them fighters just keep coming and coming, strafing, whizzing by, dumping bombs, and eventually, all of them just crash around me.
After a while, our own guys come in and lay waste to the enemy base.
Apparently, all the base defenders were so busy taking a poke at me that none of them guarded the airspace. The FHs dead, skies cleared, in comes the C-47 and gets the capture.
Thanks boys.
1 Panzer kill, and 13 freebies while sitting and just looking up the sky seeing all those enemy planes whizzing by.

Another one I remember, I was in a Pzr one day with my squad and we were defending a town from capture. So, SlammerX & I parked in town, He was near the maproom and I was up on the elevated area watching the tanks roll in from the spawn pt.
Pretty soon a large GV force comes in with some aircover and so its getting pretty crazy. I shoot the 1st 3 pzrs in but one hits my left track and I fall into a hole!
I have no idea how it happened or why, but it was damn funny.
I clicked on the supplies in town to repair my track and keep on firing.
Nailed 17 panzers and 2 tigers before the chatter on 200 started getting funny.
They ended up bringing 4 sets of Lancs to get me outta there before I died.

once hit a b24 from about 3 - 4k with a HE shell on tiger, hit the lead bomber and all 3 exploded.
also got a 262 from the 40mm cannon on PT boat from about 2.5k once which was fun.

hahaha talkin of 40mm on PTs......
once, a long time ago, i was in a PT bein a ninja, as you do, and saw a group of P40s take off from the base i was going to. when they got over me they were at about 2500ft and 1k to the left of me..
...i pumped about 20 rounds out at them spraying and praying and saw the sprite take off a 40s tail section....

During the furball tonight over 77 I made about the most unbelievable snap-shot I've ever managed.
I was playing around in a 38J all tonight, which I hadn't flown in the MA. On one sortie I'm not quite to 77 town and I see a friendly a couple thousand feet below me engaged with a Bish C2 when I spot a pair of 109s entering the area with a couple other friendlies in pursuit, but a good distance out. Seeing as I've got the better position to cut them off I chop back the throttle and roll in on one of the 109s (they had, at this point, split up).
The friendly (I THINK it was oxman) mixing up with the C2 passes under me and the 109 followed him. I'm fish-tailing the rudder like crazy in my dive trying to keep my speed down to follow, but I overshoot a little and enter something of a barrel roll to try and stay with him, and me, ox, the 109 and at least one other Rook (who had, at this point, caught up) end up in a tight rolling fight. I'm still trying to bring my guns to bear when he gets lost in my canopy frame.
I'm looking in my forward-up snap view to try and pick him up again when all the sudden the 109 pops back into view and flashes across the center of my windscreen, giving me a brief full-plane shot. Out of reflex I hit the trigger before I release the view hat, and as a result I'm firing from out of my sights. Before my view can finish panning down I see the 109's canopy fill with hit sparks, and a second later I hear his plane explode somewhere behind me and the kill message goes up.
I'm like...WOW. Every now and then I'll make a good shot, but I think this is the most pure luck, can't believe it hit reflex twitch I've ever made.

actually saw 999000 blown up over enemy field then text read 999000 landed 7 kills in a 17
think my bestis 12 in 26s
but fav is 5 in a 190a5 with half a wing missing

Had a funny one think last week...Spotted an enemy goon on the ground a bit off from one of our bases.. I was in a B26 bomber (imagine that) Didn't think it would be too sporty to drop and egg or blaze him with the guns,.....soi decided i'd land right next to him and demand his surrender...lol well landed next to him pulled with in about 20 feet asked for the surrender .......goon then tried taking off and rammed me...goon dead. sad story.

I remember when i was new.. parked an M3 with troops on a hillside outside of town. By the time I got there, our assault had dwindled away and I was pretty much there by myself. I must have had 12 planes strafing me and trying to dive bomb me... and they just kept crashing into the side of the hill. I must have had 25 (proxy) kills, many being the same person over and over and over again.
And stupid me I just kept gunning away at them (not hitting a single thing) until I was out of ammo. An IL2 finally got me with a bomb, but it sure was fun!

Was putzing around over a friendly airfield that was under attack by what could easily be called n00bs. P51s, B24s, and a couple Spitfires that wouldn't come down from over 10k. I'm in my Yak-9T ripping the crap out of buff formations when I decide to go home, even with a couple of rounds left, since I'd heard way too many pings. Nothing broken, but I was sure my wings were being held on by a string, two screws and the lift they generated. I got home and noticed a P51 flying circles around our field, kinda diving then pulling up as if he were scared of breaking his wings off at 300 MPH. At 3.5k out, I decided, what the hell, yanked the stick back to a totally random position, and hit the secondary trigger. A single THOOM of the 37mm. Silence...tiny little hit sprite, then a dull poof sound. Pwned.

well...there was this one time I was in a temp and dogfighting another temp....cause i'm dumb like that, and I was behind him and just about to shoot when he jerks his stick and vanishes....I'm like, "oh crap", so I rudder left while pulling back and right on the stick, going into a wild corkscrew, and when I pull out he is like 4 feet from my plane right in front of my left wing cannons....its like the luckiest shot in the world, and i get his wing....it was really fun :)
