Any other Americans watching that first pitch get chills down their spines as the crowd chanted USA..USA..USA...USA ??
My wife had a tear rolling down her cheek, and there was some sort of liquid swelling in my eye. God Bless America.
PS. that pitch that George threw was a curve ball Strike!
-
Was a fine desperate last ditch try by the Yanks to hang on. Well done Yanks! <S!>
-
it was a good pitch .. security at that place must have been unreal.
too bad MJ didn't shoot as well as Bush threw :)
-
Now we know what he's been up to on what little time he's had off, wonder who coached him it was great pitch.
-
Bush was a baseball player and Gymist (Male Cheer leader for that matter) in college. He was part owner of (Texas Rangers?)...he didn't have to get coached.
-
Gotta love the Austin UnAmerican Statesman. The front page has a big picture of that washout MJ :( I was wishing that I'd see Bush on the cover being patriotic, but NO!!!
-
geez even ML players are still coached while they practice I can't believe the President just went out to the backyard and threw a couple to the Mrs. to warm up for this event. :)
