Anyone know where one can get these?
I need some gear for skydiving. While I am allowed to jump without a helmet, I wanna do something different. And something the other guys haven't done (They've done a helluva lotta stupid things, condoms and whatnot, not to mention the infamous noodle Pouncer nude skydiving weirdness.
I know that the helmet will have room for speakers. No problem: will fill 'em up and place the "dytter" there (a small device starts beeping when ya reach a target altitude - and starts screaming in ya ear if ya get too low :D).
Anyone?

You guys have army/navy surplus stores? Might get lucky roaming around those.

Heh, man you crack me up.
I can see your shopping list for the week with your budget.
One pak of bologna, 2 bricks of government cheeze, 2 boxes of macaroni and powdered cheese sause, paper plates, 1 roll of toilet paper, no scratch the toilet paper,- note to self- look for goofy WWII helmet with wacky goggles.
This could be a term paper for your business/finance professor. He would be quite interested Im sure.

I was week ago in Åland islands and there was some Swedish Indian motorcycle club meeting, where also was one finn with restored indian motorcycle from 1920's and he did show old driving goggles, saying those were made in 1912.
With very thin glass and also same type as they used in WWI planes.
(perhaps in WWII too?)
Also he did show motorcyclist 'helmet' aged to around 1920-30... :P
It looked like it had been used well.
