Title: Setup for July 14 - 20. Manchuria - August 45
Post by: Mister Fork on July 14, 2006, 10:48:55 AM
Manchuria August '45

In Japan's final deaththrows, Russia moves swiftly to push
Japan back into the sea. As Japan's final fuel reserves
run dry, and with the US on her doorstep dropping horrible
bombs, Japan is feeling her death as a nation coming soon.

But not without a fight...

Boston (lease lend)
La-5FN
La-7
Yak-9 U/T

Japan
Ki-67
Ki-61
Ki-84

I think I'll spend a week in Lgays.  it will be less frustrating than chasing Lgays.  :D

true,  no need to be in Lgays but they will there to unbalance any fight irrespective of which side you play.

Title: Franks v. LA7s
Post by: Oldman731 on July 15, 2006, 10:25:32 AM
This has the makings of one of the best dissimilar-type match-ups ever, Fork, had great fights last night.  My sense is that the Frank is the underdog, but not by much.  We'll see how it looks by the end of the week!

The La-5 may be one of the most underrated planes in the game.  Especially since the last FM change, it has become more stable, benefitting as much as the 109 did.  Maybe more.  Something to do with the slats on the wings maybe?  It's more stable than it was, and still has all of the positives that made it useful before.
