That is two un-freekin-be-liev-able finishes in a row. GO YANKS!!!!
There is no way the D-backs can come back from that kinda heart-breaking gut-wrenching loss...much less two of them in a row.
I dont care who is on the mound Saturday nite....Yankees win....theeeee Yankees win!!!!

I think Kim must be on the Yankee payroll.
I read somewhere he was crying after letting that one up tonight.. jeez, he might be up there with Bill Buckner when it comes to blowing the most important game :(
I feel bad for the kid. Never gonna hear the end of it.

Have to admit, the Yank players have some big hearts! <S> to the Yankee players.
-

I still stand by my pre-series prediction, Yanks in 6 games. (I need the money, wonder why!?)

I just spent a dismal night on the couch... in my own gawdammed apt!!
This morning, pegged to the kitchen wall over the (empty) coffee maker with an 18" ginsu knife was the following note:
"Hope the couch was comfy. Going to my Ex-Husbands for dinner tonight. Have a Happy Birthday."
Do yah think she's still pissed?
-
When she asked you if you think of other women while making love to her, the proper reply IS NOT "No, why do you ask Paul(O'Neil)?"
-
Yah... but is she still pissed?
-
I'd have kicked you out of your own apt, hang. :D
Georgia Tech won last night over North Carolina and Jordan scored 30+ for the Wizards as they beat the Hawks. Oh, was there was a baseball game? :p
Seriously, better watch out for Kim, even tho he's Korean he might just go grab a wakizashi and commit seppuku (which starting pitcher would be the one to take the katana and sever his head?). Oh, hara-kiri for those that don't recognize seppuku.
-
I don't blame Kim. He had one bad inning; one blown save. Then he was clearly not pitching well. Brenly sent him out in the tenth. That's not Kim's fault.
Last night, he had no business being there. I'm sorry, we're not trying to build confidence here, this is the World Series. Yes, you can use pitchers on shorter rest, but nobody who throws 62 pitches on a blown save for a loss should be sent out the next day, under no conditions whatsoever. As I said above, Schilling threw 15 pitches more and he gets 3 days rest.
Someone should do a study of MLB records, for I think Kim is the first guy in a long while to get a loss and then blow a save on the same day. (and if you exclude double headers, I know he is). That's the manager's fault.
"well, he had a long outing and got rocked last night, let's see if a sore arm helps him find the strike zone."
-
All they needed last night was a 13 run homer in the bottom of the ninth.
Wierd how nobody brings up last night's game.
