If you wanted a non alcholic drink and both coke and pepsi were available, which would you choose?
Me? usually pepsi (mixed drinks always coke)
-
Water.
Nowadays, about the only time I drink coke or pepsi is if I'm adding whiskey to it.
-
Water with lemon. Or diet ice tea.
I've been dropping weight over the past couple months. I do a lot of cardio at the gym. Guzzling a 140 calorie can of soda aint what I need LOL.
But, you're 18 or something. Enjoy that metabolism. I sure miss it!
-
I have to laugh at the people flying on an airliner who drink a cran-apple drink, thinking they are doing something better than drinking those sugary sodas. One Pepsi - 150 cals, One Cran-Apple - 210 cals.
I prefer Pepsi to Coke.
But have been drinking more water with lemon than anything else.
-
I cant believe people still drink any of that crap. When they switched to HFCS from sugar, it just tastes kind nasty. I drink a diet pepsi occasionally but Aquifina is the healthy choice by far.

That's a horrible thing to do to good whiskey.

Always Coke!
If place is not serving coke (sells out and sells pepsi only products) 90% chance i wont eat/order there.
When i come to a restaurant i want to have a choice damn it.

Diet Pepsi if I drink that soda. I like diet Dr. Pepper too. During the summer I tend to drink a lot of iced tea rather than soda.

They say diet Dr. Pepper tastes just like the original. If that's actually true, then somebody F***ED UP!
-
Like others, I only drink water as well. I made aid citrus to it but that's about it. Occassionally I will have an unsweet iced tea with lemon but mostly it's just plain water...
I don't drink mixed drinks. Usually straight or I will just have bier.
-
Pepsi.
I drink the water all day long at work, but at night I down a pepsi or three:D
-
Pepsi because usually Coke is more commonly available and I just like to be a bit different. Anytime I'm overseas I try the local drink to see if I'm missing anything. That was fine until I tried root beer in Tennessee. Omigod:huh :O
-
Piss or Piss ?
No thank :D
-
my favoritte "soft"drinks:)
perrier, and Sam pelegrino
-
People DRINK Perrier?? I thought it was some fancy denture cleaning water.
-
I thought it was stuff you clean toilets with
-
I drink Pepsi One. Kinda hard to find around here any more, but I manage. :D It's sugarless and has one calorie per can, tastes nothing like Pepsi, and has twice the carbonation, but I like it. It's great for those burping contests and jerryrigged hand grenades.... :rofl
-
I laugh at people who laugh at people who drink cran-apple on planes :)
Seriously, there's a method to the dumbness.
See, in airplanes, the air is very dry and people tend to get dehydrated. Caffinated drinks also help dehydrate you, so any non-caffinated drink is better than a caffinated one in an airplane, even if it is just sugar water.
However, it's also known that cranberry juice has known anti-infection properties, and is better than just taking vitamin C alone. A common ailment that travellers get after flying is... urinary tract infections, and cranberry juice clears those suckers up about as fast as antibiotics if you catch them early enough. If you don't stop them soon enough, the infections hurt like hell and they often come after being dehydrated and exposed to a change in environment (new place, new people, new bacteria your body doesn't know how to deal with yet) (edit: no, not THOSE kinds of bacteria or bugs... sicko). So, cranberry juice works 2 ways - it helps keep you hydrated, and it can help fight illness.
So I laugh at your laughing.
:)

Coke.
(the drink)
-
Coke, I like the C2 product too.
-
I also no longer drink soda but I did like Pepsi over Coke. I did enjoy Vanilla Coke before they discontinued it. Vanilla Pepsi is nasty. H2O, beer or good whiskey for me now...less calories and better buzz.
-SLICER
-
Its called pop.
Cherry Coke.

Try Coke Zero. No calories vs C2's half calories. Tastes almost exactly like regular Coke when ice cold.
"I will take a diet Coke, please."
"Is diet Pepsi okay?"
"I'll have an iced tea, please."
-
Pepsi One here too. If I can't get that I'll drink diet pepsi. Coke Zero tastes horrible.
-
Pepsi Max or V (highly caffeinated, fruit juice loaded with guarana and other crap... usually the sugar-free version)
-
Water (with them bubbles preferably)
-
The Real Thing. Coca-Cola.
If it is a no Coke zone (like Jamaica), anything but Pepsi. I haven't touched a drop since they hired Michael Jackson.

Ya gotta do this RIGHT..................

Thats proper :lol
-
Coke!
If a restaurant is serving Pepsi products, I order Mountain Dew.
-
I'll take Coke over Pepsi. Really like fresh squeezed lemon in mine. The best Coke comes from Mexico. Still made with real sugar and in glass bottles. Tastes like I remember from the good old days.

Werd. But, you better stock up. Coke is stopping it from being imported (in Texas). It's cutting into local sales.

people in the sticks call their father "Pop"
a cork gun goes "Pop"
a weasel goes "Pop"
I drink Soda. and the Soda I drink is Diet Pepsi, though if I was not borderline diabetic, and sugared soda didn't make you fatter, and sugared soda didn't give you acne or anything else I would drink Dr Pepper all day long.
gotta add to it... I really can't stand it being called "Pop". it bugs the ever loving *&^% out of me. i don't know why.
also, i hate the cocacola company and their products. i think they taste like garbage. when visiting atlanta i buy more pepsi than i need just to do it in coke's home town. going to a resturant down south i ask distinctly for a "pepsi". 1/2 the time the waitress brings coke, and i send it back saying i asked for a pepsi. if you didn't have pepsi you should have told me. if you don't have pepsi i will just have water. the other 1/2 of the time when they say we only have coke, i say no thanks i'll have tea. :aok

On the rare occasion, maybe twice a year, that I drink any booze, it is always a good tequila with a diet Mountian Dew as a chaser.
Iced tea and water are my drinks of choice these days.
-
When you open the can or the bottle it goes "pop". Not "soda".
-
'Carbonated Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Caramel Color, Phosphoric Acid, Natural Flavors, Caffeine.'
How do you get 'Soda' out of that?
P.S. 'Very Low Sodium 35 mg or less per 240 ml'
-
Around Texas when I was a kid everything was a Coke. It didn't matter if it was Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, RC, Mt. Dew or whatever. It was called a "coke" not a "pop" or "soda".

Ahhh eagl, I laugh at your laughing. I have crossed the Atlantic something like 30 times, and the Pacific about a dozen times. I know all about dehydration, and I always take a big bottle of water with me, first drinking all the water the FA's offer, then drinking mine when they aren't around. I don't know a lot of guys who fight urinary tract infections, certainly not as many as drink that cranapple stuff. But like this afternoon flying in from DTW, I don't think too many were worried about dehydration on that 90 minute flight.
All that water I drink on the long runs helps tremendously feeling better upon arrival, so many think they have "jet lag" when actually they are just dehydrated.

Other names for the cabonated water you mention are soda water and club soda.
Post mix fountains just mix syrup with soda water. I can remember as a kid shopping around for the place that had the syrup turned up.:)

In the past, soda water was produced in the home by charging a refillable seltzer bottle by filling it with water and then adding sodium bicarbonate.
Carbonated water does not need to contain sodium, hence the name soda is an historical relic. We call it that 'cause grandaddy called it that.
