Theres no co-op in rookland anymore ...
When your own country stops a 3 squad co-op offensive Roll by stealing the cvs there using with 50+ players and spinning them so much they cant up and keep on the offensive ... Its Time for something to be said ...
:(
Note : we captured the port and the cv and could of had alot more ... it was ruined by Players that have no clue .. and certianly cant listen . :furious

one os the main reasons i stopped flying rooks, that and they don't check6 at all.if they do it's very rare.
-
It happens on all sides. I fly for Bish and that happens too.
-
not as much in bishland
-
Who needs check6's? Maybe 1 of 100 is usefull....
-
Flown every country and every country is the same basically. Only differance I notice in each country is the names of the players are different.
Every country has there good and bad days. Anyone thinking one country is way different than another is just kidding thierselves. It's all about which friends you wish to fly with.
As for Check 6's, Just think of them as a gift, not a requirement by others to help your lake of SA. When you get em, enjoy em. This way you won't get upset if you don't. Basically never expect them.

You just posted in the other thread that check 6'ing really doesn't matter that much. Or does it?

Stang Good luck on Christmas Eve.
Bet you a friendly Buck I win. :D

it happens everywhere!

Call a cop .. ive been hijacked ... again :(
back to the point ... nah ... I'll just go to the top .
-
Funny thing.. basically being a knight, I still hop the fence now and then...but on every countrychannel I hear the same whines:
"When will (country) learn to organize??!"
"(country) you suck!"
"Nobody checks6 anymore..."
"I called for help, nobody came, thank you (country)"
"See how (other country) does it, that´s the way to do it (country)!"
"(Country) are too dumb to pork enemy fields!"
:D

but just can't at the moment. I hit check 6 hot-key instead of voice cuz ma poor english and ma poor mic. hitting check6 key, however, doesn't work in time on the trouble rook as it points on some other player who doesn't need it, and tosses on another doesn't need it too. sometime it makes me mad.
i be the same person who need check 6 but don't have it IN TIME especially when i am occupied to chase an enemy at ma 12 very nervously :) And i be the same person who sometime bear a grudge against all rooks lol around me at the time.
But i think there'r not many players who won't give 6 call for his friendly who getting in danger or in trap. no one can't easily give 6 call to his fellow coming behind him when he got 1k high p38 circling around or he got a 1.5k distance 190s rushing on him from 3:00 or 9:00. i mean we should sometime put on other persons' shoe before we criticize them.
have a nice day~

Im certain this type of approach will get guys working "Together" :D
Seriously...This is the reason a country stays divided. Hmmm...im thinking of another country that suffers similar problems. ;)
The dialog and launguage is different...but the result is basically the same.

Especially since everyone of them thinks HIS battle is not only the most important but also the ONLY battle on map. I think they believe all other players are just sitting around in OClub...

Yeah, well, I tried.
For the first time in my AH career, I'm chasing low rank...jsut to have done it. NOthing spectacular, I have no interest in outdoing the high volume guys, and no interest in proving anything. I'm jus tfilling in the blanks, flying easy mode planes, etc to see if I can stay under 100.
So I'm about 30 right now, and last night I got a PM from one of the Ghosts asking me to redirect the hijacked carrier. NP, I did so....and was subjected to about an hour of yammering from memebers of a certain squad who certainly cant drink legally, adn probably cant find a drivers license between them. (Seemed that way anyway.)
My sexual orientation was questioned, my intelligence insulted, my standards of loyalty slandered, etc, etc.
I let myself yammer back, a weakness of mine that I always regret an hour later. I hope I'll someday get mature enough to just ignore them....
They wanted to try to hide the carrier, like you could escape on Pinwheel... :lol. None of them bothered to kill ord or VH as part of the port defense, and to be honest I cant figure out how they had enough time to do anyting in game with all the typing they threw at me. But, anyway, all bad things in that sector were my fault the rest of the night.
Enough to make me not want to get involved in the future, which is a shame -- because truth is that the Ghosts knew what they were doing, were having fun, and were robbed of it by nnoisy dweebs.

We had just started warming up the steam-roller when the CV grabbing started and put an end to that exercise. It would have been kind of fun to battle it out in a different area of pinwheel but I guess they didn't understand what was going on. Or they haven't yet figured out that CV's actually respawn. Kinda makes me wish moving a CV required that a player take and retain command of it and to take command of it he/she must be and remain onboard or lose command of it. This low rank has the right-of-way method doesn't seem to be working out very well these days.
Simaril - the effort was greatly appreciated, thank you . I'm sorry you wound up being targeted for it.
Cheers,

How long before someone logs into the a local Jacksonville gay chat room and invites someone over to 8140 Vernell St. Just ask for TC.
Or logs onto the Peta site, types “I kill kittens”, see me at…
Or signs you up for every sales call imaginable…
Or dude could be crazy, buy his own plane ticket, torch the house in the middle of the night, and disappear…
Or send letters to your neighbors from you asking: how much for the children…
Or…the possibilities are endless.
Dang man, all I’m sayin’ is you just gave your address to the whole planet, more chaser less tequila. If you want to be a counter tough guy to the Internet tough guy, invite them to a neutral location…like maybe say the OK Coral.:)

Yet another genius idea that is fuel for argument in the MA. I agree with ya 150% detch01.
This has been visited many times in the past. It is a totally ludicrous idea to assume that "High Rank" has the ability, sense, tactical planning or even the concern to command a fleet effectively. Its simply WRONG WRONG WRONG. I think it CV operations could be sooooo much more effective if we didn't let it be used as a furball island. A player of 1200 Rank should be given a chance to prove their ability to attack a base with a Task Group. I am certain that there are many players that have excellent tactical skills to use a TG effectively even though their rank is that of a noob or someone that has only logged a few flights a month.

I agree with most of your thoughts. High rank does not mean neccesarily a grasp for good CV tactics.
But what is the alternative? If we just discard the rank limitation so that the player who is in command stays in command until he resigns, it would get worse IMHO. Any noob (and there are a lot of them ;) )could take command of a cv group in the morning when numbers are low and then mess with it or just go afk for the day without any chance to stop him. Even with the "stay onboard " limitation for control. CV groups would get even more "private" property than they are today.
Other possible solution foregoing rank limitation: Anybody can take command anytime regardless of other players in command. I think that would mess it up, too. (Think of all the new, >3000 rank "WUTS THIS? COOL" guys... :D )

As it stands right now one score monkey can affect the game play of a bunch of other players on a whim from a distance - whether the intent is malicious or to "protect the CV". But you are right, TG's could become "private property" and that would be just as bad if not a worse problem. One griefer with a shade account could wreak havoc.
A different approach:
Base TG command priority on missions. Add a duration value to the mission planner and if a player runs a mission from a TG he/she gets and retains command for the duration of the mission, regardless of rank. Top out the mission duration value at some reasonable time from submission so that one player can't set up a mission with an unreasonable duration. Also have the server track mission attendance - if at launch time there isn't more than one player attached to the mission it gets scrubbed and TG command is lost. With all current TG requirements remaining as they are outside of missions being run off a TG.
This isn't a perfect solution but the current ability of one player to adversely affect the game play of a number of other players makes the idea of running squad ops or missions off of TG's a less than attractive one and this might help to alleviate that.
... just a thought.
Cheers,
asw

Funny how last night there was a massive air battle between 60 and 61. Had to be 50-60 planes having at it. It went on for a couple hours I think, swinging between the two bases, drifting towards theirs, then back towards ours. I hadn't had that much fun in the game in a while.
But true to form somoneone, this time from my 'team' flattened the FH's at the other guys base and killed it. End of fun for that large group of players
I suppose in the overall scheme of things if your game is strategy and land grab, he did the right thing, but his 'strategy' ruined a lot of fun for the rest of us.
I guess it's all a matter of your perspective. I would agree however that one guy ruining it for many is not a good thing, regardless of your take on the game.
What was funny last night was the guy who flattened the FH's seemed to expect a WTG from the rest of us for doing it. The 'silence' on country was deafening.
-
Don't you toolshed killers ever get the urge to fight the rest of the guys on?
Or is the strat so complex to you that it keeps you interested building after building after building after...
