Demo Is available at Fileplanet.com.
102 meg download. (say broadband)
Anyone try this yet? It's a load of fun sniping Nazi's while ordering your squad around.
Ive never played Operation Flashpoint, but would like a comparison for someone who has.
-
Is it a FPS? or 3rd Person like TombRaider, Max Payne?
Tronski
-
You choose. FPS or 3rd.
-
This is "value-ware", and it is pretty obvious. It isn't bad for value-ware, but compared to operation flashpoint, it's pong.
-
Yup, after the sniping fun wears off, the AI sucking gets old. Well worth the download though.
Ironically, it's "valueware" like this I thought some big name software like WWIIOL would be like. The grass, trees, and bushes are very well done and could really have added to help that game.
-
But those things are possible because of the ridiculously close fog.
If you like this, check out hidden & dangerous - it is a similar idea, only good. There is a demo somewhere or another... check gamespot.

i seem to get it and it doesnt worksays soemthing like NOCAPSLOCKERROR or something ? weird.. yes

i did and i cant even get into the setup or the game....

Flashpoint is much better. I thought Deadly Dozen had some really nice eye candy, but the gameplay in OpF is much better and the AI is a notch or two above moronic.
