nice game you have here.  I'm very excited about the game play.  how can I not die so much?  :)

Very insightful Sherlock.  

Dinghy, try the help and training forum, get in touch with a trainer.  They can have you killing others instead of being the target in no time.

how can I not die so much?

Hours upon hours of flight time and practice ... this game has a VERY STEEP learning curve. Don't get frustrated ... just keeping getting back up and keep trying.

Thank you slapshot and star,  five minutes in the main area is enough to convince me to seek help in the training area lol. I was reading the reponses on some of the threads on this forum!!!!!!  we seem to be a bickering sort of group huh? :)

You aint seen nuttin yet.  :)  Buckle up and hold on to your lunch kid, the ride gets bumpy from here.

coupla basics:

1) See them, first if possible, but see them comin if nothin else!

2) Have airspeed to play with, or some altitude above them.

3) Shoot them in the back, because most dont have guns there.

..and ..

4) Try an fly *with* someone ..solo is tuff to pull off.

5) film everything ..watch them and figure out what they did to shoot you down.

For some light reading I would recommend Bob's book.
Fighter Combat, Tactics and Manuevering (or somethin like that)
