Title: Just downloaded Aces High!

But i can't get into the air? another problem that i'm having is the Esc button will not let me minimize or exit the Aces High application window. The only way i can start the game all over again is by pressing the keyboad short cut from my PC calculator, and them closing the application from the desktop.


I tried with my Logitech dual action game controler and failed. I eventried it with the keyboard and i cannot get off of the ground while in practice mode. Is their an instruction manual? :o

If you use the alt tab key combo, you can get back to the desktop. I do not know of any way to run AHII in a picture in picture mode. And yes, there is a manual. :-)

I've been here a little over two weeks.  This is a great group of people.   All you have to do is ask a question and you'll get answers pronto.  Also over at netaces.org they have a very well written and easy to understand breakdown of every aspect of the game.  

I've been taking one thing at a time from there and trying to either master or get comfortable with it.

just be ready for years of servitude to this unrelentless master. there are people that have been flying for 5 years and barely understand ACM and dogfighting, myself included.

there should be no expectation that next week you'll be shooting down mad ammounts of enemies. the learning curve is incredible, but it is the most addicting thing on the planet. marriges have ended over this game seriously.

yea ive had this game a few months now, ive learned a LOT and thanks to the people playing this game (nicest community ive seen other than steel battalion honestly) i keep learning new things. when i first started i couldnt hit the broad side of a barn in ANY plane...now i can hit the barn but only barely ;) anyways this game will suck you in...its that fun:rofl
