Don't quote me, but I believe the dark green one means you have posted in the section and the grayed out one means you never have posted in that section. Just my guess tho

I'm sure one of these Forum lifers here will know for sure tho. :D

highlighted either means that there are new posts in threads you have posted in, or just that there are new threads since you last visited that forum.

The grey ones mean that your monitor ran out of color. You need to go get a new color cartridge from Wal-Mart.
