driving a bike without a helmet ??? LOL
this dude have a 2nd. birthday now.
plain luck, watch his head hit the car and then the bike protect him
to not hit the street, usualy this kind of accident ends very bad, even with a helmet... and where are his hand gloves`? LOL ;)
-
Looks to me like he landed on his butt then got up and started to yell. Sounded pretty pissed to me. Was that Italian?
-
I rode for many years without a helmet or even racing leathers and glove.... no firesuit either. I even drive cars that don't have full rollcages and don't wear a firesuit or 5 point harness with head restraint in em.
sometimes.... I even swim without a lifejacket! I have even flown ultralights.
I know one thing... the guy is gonna have a really hard time getting up the next morning.
I have been in probly 5 fairly serious motorcyle wrecks in my time. I have never had a head inury. I know people that wear helmets... they allways land on their head and scar up the helmet.... go figure.

Laz,
If you ever got a serious head injury, how could we tell???
Oh I know!! You'd start posting like beetle!!!!
:p
-
Honest mav.... never even got a scratch on my noggin. I have gotten bones crushed and legs all but amputated and road rash that permanently removed freckles.... but never a head injury.
I don't care what anyone says.... you are less aware of your surroundings with a helmet on.
I won't pick on beetle since he can't post here.

A helmet is like a reserve parachute, you dont need it on a daily base,
but if something goes wrong, if you wear one it can save your a**
It looks like you are a single, no wife, or kids? then i understand your "i dont care what anyone says..."
I cant afford such thinking, i'm responsible not only for my life
but also for my family.
-
Bah, all the helmet does is save something to look at in the casket if your ever in a fatal accident.
Really I feel the same way about helets as I do about seatbelts or any other law designed to protect me form myself.
I can underrstand mandatory seatbelts for children but for adults.
As the saying goes
"Let those who ride decide."
If you wanna wear one. Fine. If not. Your life, your choice

Children should learn form adults, your a good example.
Btw. whats the difference between an kid & adult on a impact with a car?
both are made of flesh & bones, pleeeaaasse.
-
Helmet and seatbelt laws are unneccessary.
Let Darwin thin the herd.

Please? Ok
The difference is age and the rights to make decisions for yourself
for that makker whats the difference between a kid drinking booze and adults?
They are both flesh and bones.
not to mention child bodies and adults bodies are different.
Adults can withstand greater impacts
But the bottom line is an Adult has the right and the maturity to make life choices for themself.
A child does not
I am not against either helmets or seatbelts.
Only someone else telling me I HAVE to wear them.
