turning off the W-buffer on Radeon cards in "Flashpoint" .

Am still using 7075 driver , have to download the other one and give that a go .

Does T&L work ok for you ?
--------------------------------------
I got a work around for the lack of joystick support . On Saitek sticks you can have the axis do a key press . So I changed the x and y to make the arrow keys work , use banded radio button . Then hit the * key in the game to use it .

I also set the throttle axis to key strokes for ascend and descend .

This is a stop gap measure to be sure , I hope that joystick support is in their next patch .

I got just some of SGE set up , if anyone wants to try it mail me at

Saitek Gaming Extensions - Saitek's joystick software - it is really useful for mapping keyboard stuff to the stick in different games.

Yeah, T&L does work otherwise but theres some light source mess ups.

- Flares doesn't illuminate the ground, only objects.

- In many places walls are illuminated from wrong side.
Very easily noticed with military bases that has fence - outside fence is illuminating the light, but from inside the base fence is dark.. when lightsource is inside the base.

But I do believe these are OFP T&L engine mistakes rather than Radeon's faults.
I haven't seen anything wrong with T&L in other games, in comparison to software handled T&L.

Does T&L improve performance in Flashpoint?
If it makes no difference just turn it off. Most computers with fast processors just dont get any improvement with T&L yet.

I always use it anyways; Its a damn feature the hyped forever so I damn wanna take advantage of it.
