Title: help about windows media player.

in my windows media player when i listen to a song or movie or something

it only plays out of 1 ear or 1 speaker. now my headset works fine from

both ears in anything else. every other program it works. can some 1

please tell me how to fix it as it is killing my ear only listening to it in 1 ear. is there away to make it to where i can listen to it out of both ears.

1st open WMP and make sure your speakers are configured right, then make sure your music is in stereo and not mono.

Maybe your WMP balance setting is set to just one channel? Assuming you have WMP 10:

From the top menu hit: View - enhancements - graphic equalizer and centre the balance tab.

Worth a try.

Download and use mediaplayer classic. The WMP sucks royally.

Another wmp to try is Klite, it looks like the old win 95 wmp but works ono just about everything.
