Title: Landing message for Bombers
Post by: Kermit de frog on July 24, 2006, 12:59:38 PM: When you are in a fighter and you get at least 2 kills, your name will be in lights for all to see.

Bombers should also see their name in lights, but not for killing airplanes. It should say x amount of objects destroyed.

I know this isn't a perfect idea, or maybe even the first time it's been posted. It's at least something better than the current method we have.

I got this idea from blukitty from the general discussion forum.

Follow Bullz sometimes ....I've seen him use a 234 like a fighter, sucking attackers into that fixed tail gun...

There's always a fun way to burn off excess perks!

Its awesome as a forward air controller on GVs. Your fast enough to evade Ostwinds, carry 3 bombs and can whoosh around nicely. I've used them Ar234 to spot GVs for our squad guys in GVs. They like it since they know I wont try stealing their kill lol

Post by: skycaptn on July 26, 2006, 10:26:09 PM: aside from the continuos flame regarding most bomber posts I agree with this one... today I chased a formation of lancasters who where "bombing non airbase or airfield targets" up to 30k. when i reached 5.0 off them they ejected. Now I appreciate the cosmic irony of this more than anyone else but, its starting to reach epidemic proportions... if your getting the horse piss kicked out of you and you decide to bail out thats one thing..

I never have a chance to read them anyway. Information overload. If bomber messages do get enabled...then we should go back to messages for 3 kills landed

Only in bomber mode will buildings count when you land. Maybe even have a minimum of buildings destroyed to have it show up when landing.
Maybe minimum of 10.
