Post by: aSTAR on July 24, 2006, 03:31:54 PM
At present I am using my provider's email address. I f I configure a YAHOO email URL will this eliminate the Spam email I'm getting:furious
Also, will the server be over loaded with junk mail & if I don't do a clean-up will this plug my system:(
Am I the only one getting 30 to 50 emails about VIAGRA & enlarging Mr. Johnson:rolleyes:
Thanks.

Doesnt your current email service have a spam filter?  It may not be on by default, but even the most basic of email services today usually include the ability to filter out "junk mail" (either into its own folder, so you can check it out for any legit mail caught by mistake, or directly to the trash can).

well first off yes yahoo does that, second get a yahoo account, and whenever you do sign up at one of those sites use the yahoo account.

you sadly will never get the smap to stop going to the current email addy. i have not opened or used a certian email address for over 1 1/2 years now, still 500+ spam emails a week to it. i check it online remotely through the ISP, and just dump it once a month.
