Skuzzy...please, live with this:

There is no intention or even a point  to insult, or provoke You, but...

Da man walks, B-**** talks..:D

Here is an excellent example of that "stuttering and major freezing.." I earlier ment.

film, 300k (http://www.rubricum.com/files/bug.ahf)

And a screenshot of it.

Err.... Zuum, not sure what to look for in this film.

It all runs smooth as a babys butt on my PC.

Same here.  Runs as smooth as silk.

I don't think any ill effects on your PC will show up in a film unless it was FRAPS. Definetly not in a still shot. Netlag would, but actual studders/freezes by, say a slow CPU or GPU, wouldn't show up.

I had a terrible intermittent stutter problem a while ago. I changed from onboard sound to a PCI sound card and saw the same.

Then I experimented by adjusting a few things in my MB Bios, the one thing that fixed it was to dissable hyperthreading. Now AH runs smooth as silk.

YMMV

I can not deduct anything from this movie. It ends before anything explodes or you get a kill message...

Once more time: I downloaded your film, and there is NO explosion, NO hit, NO kill message...

He's the one being killed. I'm guessing he wants Skuzzy to use HTC's film analysis to explain the death.

Oh, I know heīs the one getting killed, but a few seconds more of that film could have helped a lot...

You can't have more film. All it does is either immediately warps you to another part of the map on the film or to the twoer when you die.

If he had the Typh's flm, then you could get more from it.

Thats not entirely true.. film & will can run on until ALt-R is toggeld again, EVEN if you are warped back to tower. And the KILL MESSAGE is being recorded and you can see it on film. So by viewing his film, I canīt say if the Tiffie killed him, or maybe a enemy GV or even if he ditched! And in most cases, you can see the bombs explode for a split second, before you warp back to tower. Conclusion: If the film would run a few seconds longer, there would be less guesswork.

Easy. On his FE, the Tardfoon registered a hit. The shooter's FE, IINM, is the one that decides what's a strike, and what's a miss, not the victim's.

What is this Flatbar is saying about disabling hyper threading? I imagine almost everybody has hyper threading now a days. Is this something we all should do? I have a Prescott 3.4. I never even considered disabling hyper threading. TY,Clutz.

Sry, my fellows, for the silence, and delay for replay...:)

Have been pretty busy with all these vacation things:rofl
This summer has been extraordinary warm and pleasant here in Finland.
Have been spending my holiday in the archipelago of western Finland.
Take a look at this:

A nice harbour, my boat in front (http://www.rubricum.com/files/images/DSC_0113.JPG)

Some freshly angled baltic herrings before they got smoked;-) (http://www.rubricum.com/files/images/DSC_0120.JPG)

After they have been smoked...well...Thereīs nothing left;-)

Same place, opposite direction (http://www.rubricum.com/files/images/DSC_0130.JPG)

Well... not too bad time. I hope, You all understand my nonappearance:aok

OK. Back to business.

My point is, the hitting point of  that Tiffie bombing is soooo far from my location point , I donīt understand.

HTC, please, show us the drawing or some other advice, or a scheme of  effective radius of bombs. Otherwise, these all seems to be just a big lottery.

And, please again, let that film roll after a death.

Thanks.

When I did a dxdiag it showed that I had two processors which I don't have. Trying to fix the stutters that were driving me nuts I decided to experiment. With HT dissabled my dxdiag shows just one processor. I see no difference in performance with HT dissabled even when multitasking.

As I said, this fixed my stutter problem. Since there are infinite combinations of hardware and software, one persons solution for this problem may not help anothers.

Ever since I started playing AW1 I have learned that tweaking and experimenting with drivers and settings can solve most performance problems given that you have the horsepower available.

But, YMMV is really applicable here.

Thanks Flatbar! I'm going to give it a try. I have tweaked the tweaks to the point  everything is actually un tweaked now.  I just press and click nearly any and every button I can find to press an click.  I call it trial and error. Its mostly just error though. hehehe
