I found this picture and I figured it may help you with some riveting.

Its not much to see, but it clearly shows the rivets and patterns.

i can release a white background bitmap of the b17 skin file with rivets and lines in black as a template if you guys want.

I went ahead and did rivets on mine already, it looked to bare without them.
