Is it possible for some one to "hack" a players, score, kills, ect? I'm not the only one, complaineing. I shot down 4 aircraft, alone, by myself, from an undefended base (save me). I registered, zero kills. Now I have "squades' from all over wanting me to "join"? Land base, navel, ground gun, or plane, I can kill'em, just don't score'em. Does someone have "rights" to me?
I'll leave the game, untill something is figured out, I agreed to no squad, I am bish, someone, or some thing, is messin with the game. That means, I'm without, squad, I am independant.......
-
Scores only change once a day. Kills in the scores should immediately register, though.
If you really are being hacked/ect, you're the first in seven years.
-
Bob, before throwing out hack accusations.....
Where did you check the kills? Player stats ot Kill stats (expanded format)?
Did you look up the correct *category*? You might have those kills scored as attack, not fighter.
Coming to think of it: did you score those kills as field gunner?
-
Anyone can send you an invitation to a squad but you have to accept it.
If you got hoodwinked into joining one you do not want you can exit it.
Bring up your clipboard and got the O'Club and then Squads. Hit the withdraw button and that should do it.
As Schatzi mentions, how your sortie was logged effects where and how the kills/points are registered.

I received 2 "proxy" kills last night after I bailed out over an enemy base last night. (and rode the chute all the way to the ground)
It would be funny except I could imagine the guys that actually shot the enemy planes down yelling about not getting the kill "credit", so i quickly returned to tower.
when I do enough damage to a enemy plane that I know its gonna crash i move on and I'm actually surprised when I get credit for the kill !
funniest thing I ever heard was someone on base defense saying on range "the nicki doesn't have any wings left ... for the love of god let it hit the ground without shooting at it"
:lol
its like a feeding frenzie of pirahnahs out there ... scraps get mobbed before they reach the riverbed
you said you shot them down "alone" but were there other defndrs in the area?
-
if your in a field gunner scores wont matter. say u have 120 kills. if you land 4 kills will it say u have landed 4 kill and say u have 134 kills or do though kills not regester. and u still have 130 kills
also if you set your plane to attack it will score under attack. fighter it will regester under fighter score.

First off, if you're talking about your "name in lights" -- that only works if you survive, land on the runway, and have 2 or more kills (if you have 1, land, get 1 land, etc, you won't see your name).
That's not score. That's just "name in lights". It's a type of reward. Your score is checked here on the HTC page. Here also note that there are different categories (attack, fighter, bomber, vehicle). When you're in fighter mode, killing GVs won't count to score. When you're in attack mode, killing fighters won't count (at least I don't htink they do) but it doesn't track hit%.
Make sure you put your gameID in the box here:
http://www.hitechcreations.com/cgi-bin/105score/105score.pl
Leave the drop-box as-is (it defaults to the present tour) and hit "get scores"

BobCK, noone has any "rights" on anyone in here. I myself am without squad and understand what youre talking about. I hate it when i get those "xxyy wants to invite you into his Squad" popups in the middle of a dogfight!. I usually go privatewith the person that sent the invite and let them (politely!!) know that im not interested in joining a squad and that i consider it bad form to send invite without asking me first (most times i dont even *know* the callsign). Just click on DECLINE and ignore them.
If you got shanghaied into a squad: fuzeman gave you the tips on how to get rid of it.
On another behalf: you probably noticed people giving "orders" on country.... you are of course free to help them, but under no obligation at all. Aces High online "culture" (http://www.netaces.org/ahtraining/culture.html#title)
Another thing on the scores just came to mind. Are you talking about score or *rank*? because rank will only take effect if you have a certain time/points (not sure wich) already - untill then youll be ranked as 0.

bob, not only does it show you have no kills..it says you have not played at all.did you start today? if so,you have to wait until tommorrow to get your score. also, are you sure you were in the MA..the "main Arena" and not the traing arena? do get down on the game, if there is a problem all you have to do is describe what happened and someone will help.

Sir I am FluffyDZ, you may be an oppenent, but the fact is, I score nothing, after clearly wipeing out the enemy, that disturbs me. This "Bob name" is of a different group They went Nit, I didn't. You may decide to disallow this, I'll still be Fluffs, on the field. I may be looseing my kills to a fellow named bob, who I am not.... Thank you sir....
-
So you are missing kills on your score? I just looked up both your score & your kill stats on the score pages.
I noticed that 92 of your current 121 kills are under "Ship Gunner" category. Please note that all kills someone scores both in field gun & in ship guns are only displayed on your kill stats page, they are no part of the "scores" page. Only kills in planes/vehicles/boats will be counted on your scorepage. This holds true for everyone in the game, not only you. Also, if you kill PT boats or vehicles while flying in "fighter" mode, they are conted on "kill stats" page but not on score. So both things together explaine why a lot of your kills seem to be missing. Nobody hacked anything or stole your kills.

Scores/Killstats discrepancy: See Lusches explanation.
Your name: Your BBS name has nothing to do with your ingame name. They do not need to be the same. You do not even need to *have* both. They have nothing to do with each other.
Now its getting a little more complicated: You have an account. With an *Account Name* and a password (both of which you use to log onto the online arenas. Then there is your *GameID* (FluffyDZ in your case) - different from account name! You can even have Skuzzy change that name (via email) without changing your account. Be aware that you loose perks and squad affiliation doing this though (NOT your kills).
And last but not least: Noone can allow or disallow anything here. The *only* ones allowed to allow or disallow are the members of HTC staff (Mainly Hitech and Skuzzy).

If you think you are hacked email your concern to support@flyaceshigh.com .

i have seen fluffydz in game. i remember because i made fun of his name.lol.
fluffy. i know for a fact by flying with him that he has kills.sorry fluffy, didnt know it was you.

As has been alluded to above, make sure you type the right name/ handle when you want to check your scores. The one you use here isn't necessarily the one you fly under. I can get into the forums as either xtyger or xtiger, although both use different passwords.
(I used to fly under xtyger, but changed after I'd had to quit flying for a while. When I tried to join up again, it told me username xtyger was already being used so I changed it a little to xtiger. Didn't realize at the time I could of just reactivated my old account and used the old name. Just as well. I got tired of people mispronouncing my name. The couldn't figure out the name so they'd call me EX- TEEEJER.)
Occasionally, I'll mistakenly enter xtYger, instead of xtIger, when checking my scores and am surprised when it shows I haven't been up. Once I realize the error and enter the right name, it shows the right scores.

You will always get your accurate updated kills and statistics by logging on to the arena, and typing .score while in the tower, hanger, or o'club. The Rank displayed however is only updated once daily.
Pilot Score from the web site only shows statistics relevent to computing rank. As noted previously, there are 'kills' that are not relevent to scoring, and will not show on this page.
Pilot Stats from the web site is the place to view all kills a player has been credited for.

did you have fun obtaining said kills? if so, why do you care if you have some meaningless numbers in a database somewhere?
-
That's the important thing; Whether you had fun.
That said, I go check the web scores all the time, especially mine. I like to see how I'm doing and how I'm comparing to how I did last month. I even set goals of a sort for myself.
I know I'll never be in the top 100 in fighter scores, but I'll still have fun. Nonetheless, I set goals for myself, one being not to get killed in more than half the sorties I make. I can ditch, bail or get captured, but not killed. I go all out to avoid getting killed. So, for 100 sorties flown, the goal is to not get killed over 49 times. I'm usually successfull, but certainly getting killed is beyond your control many times. I usually make that goal, though.
I also try and improve my kill total, but that's more difficult to achieve. Last month I finally got over 200 fighter kills. I was kinda stoked by that but it really isn't that big a deal depending on how many sorties you made in the month. If you made umpteen thousand sorties and got two hundred kills, you need some work. A better goal would be to improve your kills per hour or the kill to sortie ratio.
Both those last ones would be harder to judge improvement on, though, because sometimes I have a hard time finding a fight, much less a good one. So, if I spend three flights flying around trying to find a fight and come up empty handed, I can hardly blame myself for having a poor kill per sortie ratio, at least for those type of flights.
I'll also often check the scores of guys (and gals) that shoot me down. It's interesting, when someone just handed you your head on a platter, to find out his scores are much lower than yours, and someone you just creamed is one of the better flyers.
Also interesting is seeing flyers with high hit percentages but low kill per hour ratios and vice versa. Weird how the scores vary so much.
The scoreboard is quite interesting to those of us without lives.:lol

At the start of this month i cared about my score way too much i had a K/D ratio of 5.0 then I felt fustrated at the game from running from 3 on 1's that I wulda had a blast at doing. So instead I go for fun. I up from capped bases I fly right into furballs and I rarely even get my wheels down to land now but the quality of fun I have is much higher. Plus, Setting Kill totals is a good way to have fun. Last month I set my sights on 800 kills and i got about 1,200 kills in fighter in under a thousand sorties. Was very fun. (Fighter town makes for easy kills.) And in all those sorties I landed maybe 200 tops.
-
Yeah, that's how I think I finally went over 200 kills (fighter): Hanging in Fightertown. Of course, more often than not I'd get shot down after I made whatever kills I made.
I have some fun trying just to "survive". Doing everything I can once I'm hit to try to make it back. I know one of my squaddies does real good but he just flies until his guns run dry and gets shot down a lot.
One of the big challenges is when you're wounded and are blacking out and you have to try to make it all the way back to base and land. It can seem like a hassle sometimes but, if I make it, not only did I cheat the guy who shot me out of a kill, I land whatever kills I made. Pretty proud of myself when I get through a tough one.
That and just plain old ditching. Quite a challenge sometimes. Admittedly can be a real disappointment when you don't make it, but when you do it's well worth it, at least for me.

wetrat, did you start this game in dec.2002? or before? have you forgotten what you were doing in dec.2002,jan.2003,feb,mar.? i'll bet a dirty set of my neighbor's grandmothers panties you were checking your stats. and scores. i used to check every day and compare with the day before.lol. talk about obsessed.now after settling in tho, you're absolutely right on about it just being about the fun.
