This is what happens flying a Spit16 too low too slow with flaps extended( i didnt realize they were until late in the flight)
i wasnt really trying to accomplish anything in this vid...i was kinda just jackin around...its still amusing to watch though lmao...and YES my wing actually scrapes the ground at one point just past the hangar.

but your flaps were up:lol this is screenshot just before crash. over water flaps auto retracted btw noobs crash every day

I think he meant noobs who have no control over augering, not augering after you porked a field.

lol they didnt go up by themselves i noticed the little flaps on the wing that only pops out when you drop your flaps.
and thereason i was going so slow is because the majority of the flight they were down. add that with the fact that i was going up down and almost every direction in between and we got some probs.
-
look at the picture the flap lever is up

look at the video the flap lever is down for most of the flight
-
also as stated before i was messing around, i wasnt paying much attention to my speed or any other instrument for that matter.

:lol

er..... going SLOW in a Spit16 is below 90 mph..... and your flaps autoretracted at 0:51 mins into the film. That was one of the reasons you crashed... flaps *down* will reduce your stall speed significantly.

once again they didnt auto do anything, i raised them myself.
