Have decided to retire my OLD Siedwinder Precision Pro. How about some input on new joy sticks. Not really interested in forcefeedback, but want a Best Quality stick.

Sidewinder Precision Pro 2.
heh ... with out the force feedback about 70.00 cdn. Good stick. No complaints... yet. I don't know if it supports rudders.. I should find out soon...

might find something here http://home.t-online.de/home/d-hofmann/homeeng.htm (http://home.t-online.de/home/d-hofmann/homeeng.htm)

I'm ready to retire my Gravis Blackhawk digital too. (It runs into problems sometimes) Would love suggestions for a decent flight stick.

I'm very happy with my Saitek Cyborg Gold USB. It's solidly made, easily configured for left handed use, and spike-free. Though I have separate CH rudder pedals, it has a twist axis for rudder control if you don't want to spend extra on rudder pedals. And it's only $40 US at CompUSA.

thanks for the suggestion, I went out and got the Saitek at best buy for 40.00. can't wait to try it out...

Saitek X-36/35 USB stick/throttle pair - It has a rocker under your left fingers for a rudder, and I like it a helluva lot more than the single stick with twist rudder... plenty of useful buttons, two hats, good software for mapping commands, precise, smooth...
If you get it, make sure you get the latest beta drivers from www.saitekhelp.com (http://www.saitekhelp.com/)

Well, we hear great things about the Thrustmaster Cougar, but it's not here yet, so I'd go with Saitek in the interim.

Hi Tomack,
Gotta agree with Sancho, Another satisfied Cyborg 3D USB user here. Don't get the gameport version though, More spikes than a pincushion (At least in my experience).
