This weekend a squad friend and I shot down a knight and he hit the ground near our fighter hangars and exploded but at the same time succeeded in landing his kills. Sorry no film available.

Somebody in HTH forums posted screenshots of the same thing. Shot him down saw him go POOF, he instantly lands kills.

I had that happen to me as well but I was the one who did it... its posted in the "craziest kills" thread and 99mud can confirm because he shot me down.


it all happened about 2 months ago while i was flying a mossie.

got shot up-- lost tail section --bailed just as the plane was about to crash..slow desent backwards--

screen read
99mudd shot you down
you have ladned succesfully
fbplmmr landed a mosquito with 3 kills
you have been captured

 i think thats all the messages that came up and i am not sure of the order
i didnt screen shot it because i didnt know how at the time and I was unable to answer 99mudd when he asked "how the hell did you land that?"
because i didnt know about channel 200

i was pretty laggy that night (kept getting xxxx has colided with you)and it hasnt happened since (the event not the lag)

its happend to me twice one time i was in a typh had 8 kills some one killed me but it said i landed and i cat mmeber the other time

Shot down by enemy flak in a FW190F.  Too low to bail, crashed and burned but my kills came up as a land. (?)

Has only happened once, and that in the MA Tour 79.

I can also confirm this. Happened to me last night. Shot down a Bish and he landed kills after he went ker-splash.

Same thing happened to me ages ago...

rmaniac was the shooter and immediatly sent me a PM telling me that he was going to report me to HTC....

I told him that it would make two of us and emailed pics and stuff to HTC....

Never heard back for HT, But Never had it happen again....

I figured it was just a once in a blue moon kinda bug

I see the name "Lonestar" and keep having the visual from the "Spaceballs" movie....where "Dark Helmet" licks raspberry jam from the radar screen and curses at Lonestar for "jamming the radar"  :p
