to fly B-17's out of England? Then you should read this book.

I have a friend who was a B-17 co-pilot, and he told me this book came the closest to telling what he experienced. The exception was that he had fighter cover most of the time.

I finally got a chance to read it, and it is one of the best I have read! Anyone else read it?
