Title: Remote Game Radio
Post by: Mr No Name on August 02, 2006, 01:51:07 PM
I would love to be able to login to the HTC website and be able to hear or use Squad Vox and see text buffer (country channel, channel 200, squad) in real time.

It would be Particularly useful for the times that I may not be able to play for whatever reason...  (I had a computer to fry and wasnt able to run the AH software on the old POS I had in the closet)  I would have loved to BS around with my friends on squad night.  The bandwidth for the most part would be minimal.

As this is a little expense I could see it being a paid customer only feature with no simultaneous logins... IE No login to "Web Radio" AND the game at the same time.

Even a small simple applet could do the trick that could store your configuration data... name, pass, squad info, last country, etc...

I think something similar has been discussed before, but I believe it could encourage more people to play if there is something 'big' going on.  It seems like a fun idea to me as I could be websurfing or chatting online and the see a "BIG HQ RAID ALERT!!!" and scramble my way online!
