Title: "Lil Tapakeg"

.........Was born August 2, 2006.

He is healthy and well.  7 lbs, 13 oz.  19 inches long.

Amazing thing.  It has been 2 days and it is already a life changing event.

BTW, no the birth certificate does not have "Lil Tapakeg" anywhere on it,

Congratulations!  Hope you don't have any plans for the next 18 or so years, your schedule has just been adjusted.  :D

Kids are fantastic!  You're in for a hell of a great ride!

Seriously though, having kids is the best part of life.  Wouldn't change it for the world.

Nope, but he has some

KC Chiefs, My team

and some

N.O. Saints, wife's team.

outfits.

We're not pushy, he can choose one of those teams.  ;)

My advice it to really  really really enjoy the next 12 years.....

Yeah, learning the ropes.  Trying to get each facial expression down and what it means.  He is changing so much every day.  Poor little guy was born with a clubbed foot.  It is fairly common and will heal completely, but he has a cast on his entire left leg.  It is not a birth defect, but bad positioning in the womb.  He's perfectly fine and does not mind it, but it is sad to see.  Not getting much sleep at all.  Wife and I taking shifts.  


I told my wife he's like Tivo.  The minute I saw it / him I wondered how I lived this far in my life without it.     ;)

After about 6 to 8 weeks you should be able to get more sleep. They start to sleep longer than 3 to 4 hours at a stretch by then.
