In a fit of unrequitted curiosity I finally broke down and opened the link.
Now I have a quandry.. This post does much to alleviate the damage done by the other post. Tho I'm still not completely recovered.
My biggest concern will be which type Drediock will post the next time.

before hitting the link, is this some East Coast Tranny event?
-
"The Jersey Guys" are two on air radio personalities
As funny as Howard Stern USED to be
The Swimsuit Comp are of real girls
-
They are pretty but....
Do they have that anoying accent?
That would be too horrible to contemplate.

Lazs,
Do you mean the accent that produces sounds such as "Joisey Goils?"
-
yep.. makes your ears bleed to think about it..
The east has some of the most anoying accents in the world... jersey and new york are right up their with the ******* braying of boston area easterners for ear bleed factor.
If I hear one on TV... I change the channel.

Lazs Fran Drescher?
:D

Do bags come with contestants? Seroiusly...most look better from behind..no offense. Very nice from behind actually.
A couple of them need to eat something though. They have that alien look about them..the pencil arms and big noggin thing.

All depends where your from. Maybe your accent would be just as annoying around here.
Im amused by the different accents and terminology I come across.
Southerners for example, have a bad habit of turning a 1 syllable word into a two syllable word sometimes.
"You" for example in the south is pronounced "Yewww" or the may add a syllable by saying "Ye-ew"
Also they like the soft "a" sound
River isnt RiveR its Riva
YondeR is Yonda
And Coffee anywhere else is pronounced coffEE
They like to pronounce it as Couffa
and ThE is Tha
Another word I've seem them use us "Yens" Though I havent quite been able to make out the meaning of it conclusively I think its supposed to be the plural of "Yall"
"Yens went down to tha Riva and drank some Couffa and did some fish'n."
"How yall be liken that theya catfish we all caught ova yonda in tha riva?"
And everyone seems to need something.
"Ye-ew need to go ova yonda to yoa daddaes house and hey-elp him build his de-eck."
Use of grown men using the term"Daddy" when referring to some other full grown mans father, to his face no less, is also amusing and would be considered up north to be good reason to get into a fight unless you knew the person really well.
But that's a subject for another post.LOL
Now I admit we in the northeast NJ-NY area (forget Philly as far as we are concerned its persona non grata Or kinda like a wart. You know its there but you try not to pay too much attention to it ;) )
We talk screwy too. Some of the same as the south but I think ours sounds more harsh or perhaps a better term would be husky tone wise.
Three for example is more often pronouced "Tree'
We also like terms like "Forgetaboutit which we take several words and mash them together into one.
And the pronouciation of that would be "Fogeddaboudit"
"There" is alot like southern Theya only in a deeper tone and without the twang. and is sometimes replaced altogether were "Dere"(Pronouced Dare"
Same thing with "Beer" Beea
Others are different
"the" is often pronouced "da"
"How did I like da party? We hada blast, Da tree of us went ova dare
Drank all the Beea we could want. and Fogeddaboudit,"
Another term we like to use here and I've had people bust on me about, particularly in the MA is the NY-NJ term for "Yall"
While "Ya'll is spreading up here I noticed We still use the term "Yous guys"
"Yous guys headed down the shore this weekend?"
Oh and in NJ we dont go to the beach, we go "down the shore"
We only go "to the beach" when we are already down the shore.
Now if your referring to that nasely accent used by Vinnies Girlfriend in the movie "My Cousin Vinnie" Thats more Brooklyn/Jersey City/Staten Island
the rest of us find that annoying also.
Highest on my levels of amusement has to go to Bostonians. They LOOOOVE their soft "a"s like no other.
ITs not Boston its "Baaaston"
They dont drive a car they drive a "Caa"
And they drink BEaa in a Baaa.
"In Baaston they drive the caaa to the baaa to get Beaa"
Now I havent paid much attention to the Midwest and western dialects other then to notice they suffer from the same affliction alot of southerners do.
That is it takes them about what seems like an hour to get each sentence out. Kinda like small kids cept they dont use alot of "and um,and he um" like little kids do.
It just takes them a LONG time to say something.
As for California.
All the people I've met from there tend tend to either talk in a very effeminate manner reguardless of how effeminate they are..or not. Or with a lisp and are very good at decorating:D
All in all though. most of the people I've met from all over. have been good people. Fun to get to know and hang out with.
We juss talk diffrent
-
I was born in kalifornia and raised here and in the south. I don't have an accent... I am accent neutral.
I find southern accents relaxing... most everyone does...
I find the harsh eastern accents anoying in the extreme... most people do. the northeastern semi canadian ones are also pretty lame.
A sophisticated brit accent is not too bad but often sounds effeminate... the cockney ones are just awful.
My grandparents came from Scotland and the only scottish accent I can stand is the one Sean Connery has.

I actually like the sound of the southern accent also
It amuses me when they make fun of my accent, or way I talk when they do not speak any better
However. The speed at which they speak. Sometimes gets to the point where I feel like saying "Spit it out already"
Its almost like they have to think for a moment about each and every single word they say and then think again about the word AS they say it.
But I realise the pace is slower there then up north too.
They do everything slower.
Going into a grocery store down there and dealing with the cashier absolutely drives me bannanas
Pick up item, study item, read the lable, Locate scan bar, Scan item.
Next item
Pick up item, study item, read the lable, Locate scan bar, Scan item.
Next item
Pick up item, study item, read the lable, Locate scan bar, Scan item.
Next item
And so on and so forth to where I feel like Im in a honeymooners episode and Norton is the cashier and I feel like doing a Ralph Cramden smacking them and saying "Just scan the stuff already"
On the other hand. Up here when we say "How ya doing"
Its more of a way of just saying hello. Cause people really dont give a damn "how your doing" they just say it.
Down South when they say it. they actually are interested and expect an answer...in detail. LOL
Down there
