LOL, my Uncle's daughter had the Bridal Shower.   We drove two hours, to go here.   It was my Dad, Brothers, Uncle, my brothers two kids, Ian and myself.    They have full-motion flight simulators that are off the hook.  If I EVER win the lottery or strike it rich, two of those are going in the basement for Aces High.  

My uncle had never been there before and would have otherwise stayed in Indiana.  

But yes Roo, Ian had a blast, he's been here twice.    We're going to get a brick with my deceased Grandfather's name on it to put out front.

They had the 39 in the workshop the last time I was there. I asked the guide why the hell they had such a rare plane out of sight. I guess some moron had drove through a wall and damaged the tail. It had been repaired but was still sitting in the shop.

Glad to see it's where it belongs :)

Sad thing is the Zoo sold all their spares and will no longer fly any of their aircraft.  I went to the auction, and picked up a few things for us.  Still a sad day when they did it.  :(

I was talking to "Kevin" at the AirZoo.  He said alot of the planes could be flown now if they wanted to.  However, the liability insurance went up 5 times the day after 9/11.   They couldn't afford the insurance.

The EAA museum at Oshkosh had a really slick full motion airplane game last year when I went there. I would LOVE to have that thing.

Looks like pretty much the same thing. I think the EAA one was a single seat. It was a blast to "ride" though.
