Title: renaming films
Post by: MajWoody on August 07, 2006, 11:19:29 PM
I see a lot of films that are posted here have been re-named from the numerical one that the film viewer assigns them. I have tried to re-name them & I get a message that says they may be unusable if changed.

What is the procedure for doing this without making your films unusable?

 Thanks in advance.

You should just be able to right click the file and select "rename". As long as you're not changing the file extension ( .ahf, .wav, .avi, etc), it should be fine.

On a related note, what operating system are you using? IIRC, on my old Win98 pc, I could rename extensions, whereas WinXP doesn't let me do that.

Thanks Hub,

You just leave the .ahf at the end of the name correct? I tried it & it worked.:)
