Osprey publishes some of the best books on military history, men, aircraft, ships, all of it.
I highly recommend their books on WW2 aviation. Some very good info, with current research, written by some of the most knowlegeable authors.
The "Aircraft of the Aces" is a top notch series.

A word of caution...
I suspect what you are posting is copyrighted material. Just because you downloaded it in .PDF form doesn't mean its 'free'. There are many sites that allow you to download protected books in .PDF form. That doesn't make it right.
If everyone could just download books for free then why would the publishers bother to release new content. Other forums have been shut down and or sued due to this very issue. If don't know if the material you are posting is protected or not then its best not to post it.
Skuzzy may want to take a look at this thread...

handy169, is that a Russian site you are d/l that copyrighted material from? If it is the one I think it is, it ignores any copyright.

It still doesn't make them free to distribute. The more people resort to scanning and downloading the fewer new publications we will see in the future. If you are a fan of those Osprey books, and want to see more of them in the future, then please don't post the download links in this forum or others. Not only that but the web masters can get hassled over this type of thing.

from the copyright of 1956 summary
Of ordinary works, copyright in typographical arrangements is easiest to consider. It subsists for 25 years from publication of an edition.
the books where made in 1979 . which means the copyright expired on the books in 2004 and is no longer valid .. and are free to be used how you please
this is UK copyright btw not US copyright

Wotan, I found the site. It is a '.ru'.
That's what I figured. I remember an .ru site that had many of those Osprey titles as well as multiple issues of lesser known publications such as Luftwaffe im Focus. I stumbled across it while looking for a copy of Luftwaffe im Focus #2 standard edition. #2 is shown as sold out on the
Luftahrtverlag (http://www.luftfahrtverlag-start.de/EHomepage/ehomepage.html) home page and I am still looking...

That is the 2cd .ru that I found. This other one had scans of Squadron/Signal books.
Sent an e-mail off to S/S but the reply implied they didn't care.
