Title: Pearl Harbour- differences in US and GER/Jap version?

I heard in radio today, that the german and japanese version of the movie should be 22min shorter than the original version in USA.
It was mentioned that some very anti-japan speeches are cut out.

Who knows something about it?
Is it really that worse and why the hell do they cut the german version?

I remember reading something about cutting the Japanese version. Removing the victory speech, I think. I don't know about the German version.
