Shot a man in the back in an episode I watched tonight.

You hear critics talk about todays shows, how there is too much blood and violence. This show had it all, blood, shootings, violence, hookers. Yet, to this day it evades all criticism, in fact it is praised for high standards.

So, what's the difference between shows then and today?

There was also a clear distinction between the guys in the white hats, and the bad guys, and it was OK to call them Bad, it was also ok to shoot them.

It's the same shows and stories, just the Perception has changed.

I miss Gunsmoke.

Actually that one had a teenage girl that was a perfect killing machine, the preacher was just strange.
