Did anyone ever had the driver wounded in a tank? Be it even a M-3?
I think that if you'd shoot a 75mm round right into the driver's periscope, (or vision-block, however you call it) at least some shrapnel must enter the tank and wound (or even kill) the driver.

I do not think it happens in the game. But it SHOULD. It makes no sense that a tanker can use the pintle gun to shoot at aircraft in no fear of being wounded or killed from the aircraft gun fire.
If you are using the pintle gun when you are straffed, you should be killed. The turret hatch would definately be closed if tankers knew there were enemy aircraft overhead. Can you imagine a bunch of .50 cals bounching around inside the turret because some fool had the turret hatch open to man a pintle gun?
Maybe, we will get this fixed. In addtion, the pintle gun should be able to be destroyed by aircraft without having to destroy the entire turret.

Intresting.

Please stay on topic gents, Im asking for actual driver wounds instead

If driver wounds would be implemented, there would be a lot of people getting wounds after ramming their gv into a tree, rolling it, rolling off a steep hill/cliff, and other nasty things that happen in a jeep when you hit a pebble. That sucker bounces more then a stripper with double implants

Don't get so nasty about it meatwad. We're talking about BULLETS injuring pilots, not TREES!

Actually, I think the pintle machine gun was remote controlled.

No it wasnt! Look at any WWII film where the tanks are rolling through the town. The pintle gun (Ontop of turret) is always manned. It might not be while during a battle, but it was not remote controlled.
