Why is it that sometimes I record the typed messages at the bottem of the screen and sometimes it is clear not even a black bar...is there a toggle to clear the screen or a place where it wont be captured in the film ????

Do you record off the game or off the film?


If you record off game: I do not recommend that and cant tell you anything about it either.



Record off film: Record your films in AH with the inbuilt recorder (ALT R) - this *always* records voice and radio chat messages which are displayed in a separate window in film viewer (click on Edit text/voice if you want to remove it). Recording off ahf with FRAPS will NOT record the chat messages.

Yes I figured that one out myself. Now I have the full version of fraps I can record directly from the game in any mode but it records everything and you cant edit. Also it records the speech bar so I wont be doing that anymore Lol.
