Ok first of all, let me put it down on paper. Im dumb, i cant work Terrain edditor for heck. So im putting out a challenge. One of my friends recently said how cool it would be to make a map of my local area, so that I could attack my neighbours. This struck a chord with me and I knew that you could make maps. So if anybody is interested in making a map for me, that will NOT be submitted to MA and is purly fun to play around in, let me know. PM me. I understand if no one takes this challenge as there are a lot of terrains for serious work out there, unlike this one. Would appreciate feedback

i read a tutorial but I just cant get the hang of it, hence this challenge. I remember reading a post in this forum a while ago with the problem I have. Every time i start TE, it says 'TE HAs CAUSED AN UNEXPECTED ERROR' I just dont get it. But any way, even if I could do it, I doubt it would be any good

Error message is generated from not starting a "New Terrain". Go to: File>New  and make a new terrain.

I could put this terrain idea in the Qeue line to be created. Although I would need a sattelite image of the street layout.

^Go there, type in your street address, City, state, zip code. Then press search and an option comes up:

Map of ########

Click that and you get a high-resolution "Topographical map" "Sattelite Map" or "Hybrid" map. (Better than mapquest!)

That way I would get a general idea of the layout of the region. (NOTE: Pm me the information, that way only I know where you live:t )

well bogie, i tried out the turorial above and I think im getting the hang of it. I'll give you the info but I think im gonna have a shot as well

Probs- im havin trouble getting the map for you
