You know the one....you take out some goober and he inundates you with PM's telling you how lucky you are, or how he's going to hunt you down, or even threatens to come to your house and beat you up...
What's your favorite PM from the past?
Here's one that happened to me just last week:
I was flying a spit9 and shot down a con that engaged me.
I get a PM saying "Why don't you learn to fly something besides your dweeb ride you loser"
And he was in an LA-7!!! :huh

Wow, that's pretty mild. I can't post most of those I've received. Suffice to say, I've made a few friends for life in this game. ;)

One time JohnnyRa tuned me to private VOX and proceeded to rant profanely for about 20 minutes. He probably would have stopped sooner except for my laughing hysterically at him the whole time.

I was once subject to a 20 min PM diatribe consisting of rather colourful language convinced i was shane. The person was not exactly a newbie and partrols these boards.

I spanked two 190D's on the deck in a P47D-11. And a certain someone told me to fly a real plane............. not going to say is name, but it starts and ends with o and rymes with palace in the middle..........

I've only got one nasty PM and that was for vulching a guy about 5k over his base.
Of course, I've heard some real good ones lately given to others.........

since im a kid I file harrassment cases on all people that pm me.:D And when I pm them I say its in retaliation and my self esteem pills were not kicking in.:p :cool: :lol

Got one the other night after shooting down a guy who was in an F4u-4.
He said he'd like to try it again some time all the bells and whistles werent turned on my P40E. If you know what Im getting at.
If he only knew how inept I am with computers.

Four of us sic pups flying ponies hit a field and shoot down ten guys defending it all at fifteen thousand or a little less. My sixth kill pms me with something about cherry picking when I was covering my wingman. Whatever a cerry pick is I followed this guy through a split s and shot his wings off so he definitely saw it coming.

was defending a base 2 nights ago, I was re-upping in a 38 when this person came screaming in from 8k in an la7 and started vulching, I was rolling down the runway and saw him start to line up on me, so I pull wheels up drop flaps and pull nose up and HO his la7, basically cutting it in half, and he missed me completely as he was a horrible shot, shortly after that I recieve some BS on channel 200 saying that all I can do is HO, and when I start laughing and explaining what really happened he PM's me cussing and calling me all kinds of names saying that I suck and couldn't even begin to take him 1 v1, in a real fight LOL.... This is someone in a very good squad too, I can't stand him but his squad is ok, won't say there name but they know who they are. Mine has to be the best, I still laugh everytime I think about it :)

Once, while flying my "C.205 of Death", I engaged a P-51D, and La-7 and a Spit-9. I killed the Spit, the La-7, and my C.205 of Death was badly damaged. I did my best to evade the P-51, but he eventually shot me down. Than I get a message telling me that I need to learn ACM and that stick stirrers like me should not be in the game. Somehow, he failed to mention that it was three on one, and I got two of them before they got me. He also failed to note that I had only one aileron and one elevator when he managed to shoot me down. With a fully operable plane, he would have been dead.

I've only received one PM after getting a kill on someone. I was in an F4U-1 defending a field, he was in and F4U-4. I actually never even had a shot on him, and I think either the auto ack got him, or someone took his wing and they died before he went down.
Either way, I got a proxy, and he PMs me and asks me what I was in when I got him.
Other than that, I'm still waiting to be screamed at and called a cheater. :(

Anytime I'd shoot Morpheous down with the 5 inch guns I would get about 10 mins of private whines and insults. It never failed. Gotta love "Hypocrites High 2".

That's a great kill Ice. So let me get it straight he goes to vulch get's the watermelon end of the stick, and complains about it? He's an idiot for trying that stunt anyway, he got what he deserved.
P.S take you 1v1, does he not know how you won KOTH? I mean come on

Yeah I thought so too Leadpig, unfortunately for me, it turns out that ho'ing, and it wasn't even really a ho more like a 30 degree snapshot on an enemy plane that's about to vulch me, makes me a no skilled pilot :) . I myself thought it was a really good shot at the time until he told me that I was a dweeb and some other stuff LOL

Yeah well its like the saying goes, "even the sun shines on a dogs behind every now and then" LOL I'll be the 1st person to admit that I won just getting lucky. I also had to throw a cheapshot and face shoot one of our squaddies in the last round cause I knew he would eat my lunch in the tempest's :) and probably most other planes :)
Waffle thanks for coming clean and admitting what you did, HiTech, please cancel his subscription :) LOL J/K.. We're just messing around HiTech he wasn't the culprit :) On another note, really liked the mossie mission last night Waffle, how many did you guys have ?

Been called a cheat 3 or 4 times and whined at more but that don't bother me. What bothers me is the internet HEROE mentality. All these guys would prolly watermelon bricks if they were actually face to face with ya. :rolleyes:
I pays me dosh to play not watermelon chat with some mistaken, ain't got a clue, dumb avacado and for that reason to I no longer tune 200.:aok

My favourite PM?
It has to be when I was PM'd in the middle of a fight. We both knew who we were fighting (both me and my adversary) and in came the white text "pulling vertical is the stupidist thing you've done all day!"
Back went the reply "And following me up was the stupidist thing you've done all year" as I proceeded to rope him, Hammerheaded over and blew the wings off his ride as he flopped about like a fish out of water.
....Silence....

on of my favorite PMs came after I killed an ar234 with an Il2
"is that all you can do is HO? you ***" was the gist of it

I was called an "ack-hugging POS" once because I was taking off from a fully-up field and he died from ack while trying to vulch me. I got the kill. :)

was riding wingman for a fella and we where in P38's in some unknown arena, anyway he is HO'd by a 262 {i had sense enough to go vertical as the 262 was low and slow} and my leader sais as he is spiraling towards the ground:" WAKE THE {explinative deleted } UP POPSEED!."..
2 min later he comes over congratulating me for getting the kill, and rubbed it in the guys face on 200................needles to say I left that arena as he was the host,, such is life {sigh}:cry

hwo the hell do you send a guy your currently fighting a pm while going thru the "ussual" maneuvers? if i take my hands of the stick for a second ....well im ded faster than if i dont!

my absolute favorite is when a some guy using BnZ attacks you, fall for the setup, misses his first and only shot of the fight, and promptly explodes as i send some shells into his skull in my first and only shot of the 'fight'.
i don't enjoy winding people up, much less enjoy causing someone the need to get irrate in private, but i do ever so much enjoy it when a genuine piece of 'impossible' ACM gets some hot head ranting. i usually offer TA to show how easy what i did was, and often they come and end up better off for it......if only in becoming more experienced in thier BnZing tech. ;)

Well I got pm'd and tuned onto vox by a guy who likes the Patriots football team....He screamed profanitys and really really vulgar insults at me for about an hour..than sent me about 100 invites in a row...i finally let him join and killed 5 or 6 cons he had sent to my location (squaddies Im thinkin)
all the while he was sayin how I sucked and could only ho and run in my spit9 ...funny part is I didnt even kill him, all I said to him was the Patriots suck on text. I would post it but its realllllly bad

WOW!!! Furball hasnt chimed in on OUR little scrap.
My favorite is when I tried to sink a carrier but didnt have quite enough ords. They went right down the center though, and landed on a plane taking off! He accused me of cheating just because HE flew into MY bomb!

i bombed a guys tigr as he was trying to get to the map room to protect it from and trps coming and he PM me (forget wat it was he said) then he upped a m16 and i killed him w/ rkts he PMs me again "SCUM CUCKING PIECE OF SH___T!!" (no website will download the screen shot i took of it)

My last incident with someone was chalenge....
He was cruising around in his 51 I was on the way towards his base in a temp tried BnZing me everytime he had a shot i'd roll around and get a snapshot all of a sudden he became ultra timid. In hindsight he said he had elevator damage which is fair enough.
Got all the way down to his base and ack hugging wasnt going to let him land after following him around for ages. My usually fatal shot had escaped me on a couple of passes. But eventually he went in.
Got some nasty remarks "stick stirrer" "and flying it like a 1 year noob"
Next run I upped a P51 to match his. Again he dives in from above I roll it around slap him hard on the snapshot (oil leak) he dives for deck I follow and saw his wing off from 800. No comment
Comes over again this time more of a furball and I have alt adv for the first time made short work of him when he dived on someone else.
I'm a nice guy just don't like getting rubbed up the wrong way. Especially on Private.

hehe, I got PMed by GrmRpr as well the other night. After shooting him down twice (him P51 me P47) he called me a sisi and some trash talk. Must be annoying for an alt monkey to meet an even higher alt monkey :)
I then shot him down again in a long scissors fight on the deck for good measure. It was actually a good fight ( GrmRpr), but I made a mistake squelching him, it would have been entertaining. I flew back low on fuel, slow on cruise settings which took forever, just to land his 3 kills and annoy him :t

Not really in competition for being the best but I get the 'BS', 'where do you get the homing bullets' type PMs every hour or so while I play.
I too have had JohnnyRa spend over an hour calling me BS and cursing at me. We should start a club, Grits.
