man, is it just me or are those people weird out there?

Post by: Chairboy on August 21, 2006, 04:48:18 PM: We've got weirdness here too. The big difference is moderation. Those external communities are either wide open "i are teh furst amendment! no censorships here!" groups or "You vill not posten zie verbotten messages!" strictly censored types.

The O'Club, as you may have noticed, is at a mostly comfortable halfway point that encourages discussion, but clamps down on ******tery pretty quickly.

This place is like a local bar were everyone has eachother pegged and look at new folks (or tourists as i call them) with a healthy dose of the evil-eye.

Or also we get drunk enough and decide to have a viking style raid on another message board upsetting all the little children there. IE brittney spears board, how they say she is God and an idol and the best thing since breathable air.

Besides, the O'Club attracts a better class of lunatic. ;)
