What kind of billiard?

"Russian pyramid" table is 8 to 12 feet long, 4-6ft wide. Big tables in clubs are usually 12 feet. 1ft=30.5cm.

You are "lucky". Im into snooker, and finding space for one of those tables is damn near impossible without the missus booting you out the door.

Talked to an friend, 96 Cm in width is way to small. Need an table that is atleast 130 Cm width.

This is an table with 130 Cm width, and it still looks small.

Remember that you need 5-6 feet of clearance around the table.  You might be able to get away with 4 feet, but you're going to have dents in your walls.

I told the wife when we move into a larger house, a 9 footer is going to be a staple in the house.   It is the only size I'll play on.

They dont even come in that sizes at the pro shops here ;), biggest you can find over here is 8,4 foot long.

Im not too worried about the lenght tough, its the width of the table i want at an good size.

This discussion is getting corny hehe.

This might be the winner tough

7.8 foot long, 4.50 foot wide. It looks pretty cheezy, but the room it standing in contributes to the cheezy look imho.

Hey, those look suspiciously like that "fancy eat'n table" at the Clampetts house!

I didn't see a Billiard mounted on any of the walls though.

My parents want to put a regulation size pool table in the basement once they get it finished, however, in addition to my 12X12 room they are building another room of undetermined (but probably large) craft room.  This is in a basement that is 36 feet long.  I talked to them about that point you mentioned Mini but they don't listen to me, it's not my house and I don't have to repair the holes in the walls....unless I purposely put them there.  We'll see how it turns out, probably just like our "exercise room" use twice and use it as decoration.

Good luck on your search Maniac!

A 12x12 room is even too small for an 8x4 table. You could maximize most of the space by putting it in at an angle, but that's it. You need an 18x14 room for a small pool table to fit comfortably. A 20x16 for a larger one to fit and even bigger for the felt monster that is a snooker table.

I don't know how many people I've seen ignore this advice, but do know I've only seen maybe 5 pool tables actually fit where they were placed. I even know people that would look at homes with the specific idea of fitting a pool table in one of the rooms. We had a double garage that was finished with cabinets and we put the pool table in it (when I was growing up).

I figure if we get one of those 3 in 1 tables that is like 5X2 it'd be fine?
