Title: Landing On Destroyer

     Last week I was coming back to the CV with 8 kills in my Seafire only to find the carrier was sunk and i did not have enough gas to make it to a land base.  

     So i figured i would try and land on the destroyers deck, well to my surprise i was able to pull it off without even putting a scratch on my plane.  But the disapointing part was when i towered out i was only given credit for a ditch and not a sucessfull landing.  

     If you can put your plane down on a non Carrier ships deck and keep it dry then i feel you should get credit for a sucessful landing!!!!

Because you didn't pick up the special "power up ballon" that enables cruiser landings.

Some planes did take off from cruiser but none NEVER landed back on one.  Not even the retreavable FLOAT planes.  

Hurri's used to be launched of Convoy ships.  It was a one flight trip for the plane and often the pilot froze to death before being rescued.  

Be thankfull for the ditch and alway call out bombers inb your Cv:D

Morpheus was actually back on the boards for a while as "Revor". :)

Rich, in that regard the CV is just like the field. No matter how pretty your landing was, if you're not on the spot, it doesn't count.

I think thats just Hub taking the piss, Unless Morph finally cracke, I dont think he would be able to lower himself to writing posts like Revor 's ......

Oh yeah unless someone has already found it... The old post was callled "When the BK's get board" It was my first introduction to the BK's and It left a hell of an impression......
