this is ridiculous... having to buy expensive equipment and ISP service just to play the game and yet the HiTech server clogs everything up.

And I assume that you have made sure you dont have a bottle neck some where like RAM, or Processes Running in the background anything like that

Cause I have a crappy system, I play on dialup from Aus and I can still get 60+ fps and smooth play with a decent level of detail....

But it must be HTC, cause I am sure you have checked every thing

And what makes you think it's HT's server?
 It's back to school time, and all the kids dl'ing music and video files tends to clog up the internet- I've seen it this time of year for several years now.

I'm guessing freeloader that doesn't get h2h rooms go to private pc.
And yes some have very crappy connections.

Thats funny.. Heres what I have to use for playing


512 DDR
AMD 2400XP (or something like that, I forget)
Geforce2 64 meg video card


I have frame rates in the 30's, just fine for me.

512 Dual Channel DDR 400mhz
AMD Sempron 2500
256mb Fx5700

Actually now I look at it Your CPU is an XP might be faster than mine

I might upgrade my video card one of these days when I get my refund check for the grant that I havent used yet for college. I like Geforce2, seems to of held up well for the past years. Shoot by now I dont even know if you can get them anymore. I think this one is about 5-6 years old, cant even remember when I got it anymore. Heck it may be older then that!

I cant remember the clock speed off my head, isnt them chips running about 2.1-2.2 ghz?

I found when you feed the squirrel running in the wheel inside the big box that the monitor is hooked up to, you get better frame rates. Just my$.02!

Just like harassment is now pronounced "hair-es-ment" instead of the way we all learned it as "her-ass-ment".

Theres a alot changes to old phrases and words that used ot be used. I'll see if I can find some more in my BMR.
