OK it`s that time gents.
Let`s hear your prophecy.
Even with Sobral wanting it so bad I`m gonna have to go with the Iceman.
Chuck has a lot of heart and if it does not go down to the mat I beleive he can take him with his punch.
-
Babalu hasn't got a chance. Chuck can only beat himself it seems...
-
Smart money's on Chuck. I don't think it's wise to write off Sobral, as he could pull a submission if Chuck screws up. Chuck will win easily if it stays up in a slugging match, it's a little riskier to go down to the mat but I'd still put the money on Liddel.
-
Ever see Chuck sprawl? I don't see Sobral taking Chuck to the mat. Babalu will have beat Chuck down to get him in a position to submit him. To do that Babalu will need press the stand-up. Ask Couture how that worked for him the past two times they met.
That's not to say Sobral isn't a badarse, but it will be very tough for him to pull it off. I just don't see it.
But who knows surprises have been known to happen.
-
Is that tonight? My money is on chuck.
-
I have to go with Chuck.
-
What a joke... Babalu thought he had Chuck stunned and started swinging for the fences. Bad idea. Chuck's got heavy hands. One stiff left hook (I think it was a left), and Babalu's night was pretty much over.
-
That punch stunned him, but then a right uppercut put him on the mat.
As expected.

LMAO
1 minute 35 seconds.
Bobalu got a Boo Boo.
The Iceman Cometh!
:D

chuck is one bad hombre. Although i saw jeremy horn choke him out, and rampage jackson beat him early on. I would love to see liddel vs silva.

The fight.

As predicted..
Chuck is always backing up and lets the other fella push it. Then he busts them in the arse. But there's not much you can do to him. Getting him on the ground is tough. Boxing him, getting in quick then out is probably the best you can do. However, Chuck can punch big with either hand and all he needs is one.

Wandy would take Chuck out. Chuck had a pretty good run in Pride, but even the bottom-feeders over there gave him a tough time until they'd get cocky and eat an overhand right. Rampage beat his bellybutton down pretty well. Wandy Silva is on a different level than Liddell. Once we get to see Anderson Silva (the guy that beat down Leben - what a terrible mismatch of talent) fight Rich Franklin, you'll see what I mean about being on a different level. I fully expect Anderson to put Franklin to sleep.
-
I thought it was kinda funny when Sobral sort-of woke up and took down the Ref by mistake. It's not on the YouTube video, but if you see a longer clip, watch the replays.
-
Yea, i kinda agree. the pride fighters are a cut above the ufc guys. Rampage jackson was never in any trouble when he fought liddel. He just wore him out. But that was like 5 years ago.
-
Babalu got in there and did excatly what he trained for months NOT TO DO.
How stupid was he for swingin' with Chuck like that? Sheesh. Thought he had a shot too. O well. I don't see anyone beating Chuck except maybe Father Time.

Hmmm I fully expect the total opposite with Silva being the one who's snoring when it's all over.

Just wait for the PPV re-runs etc... then you can get the whole UFC 61 for free...
No one mentioned Griffin/Bonner, but if that means it wasn't worth mentioning, then I agree. However, Griffin is a few steps ahead of Bonner and it showed.
