I am currently making 1/12 Hawker typhoon RC plane and I would appreciate any paint schemes , preferably with invasion stripes. The plane is newer version with bubble canopy. All help appreciated! Also paint codes would help a lot!

Take some good screenies of the Typhie in game, several of the skins are really attractive, and some have Invasion Stripes too. :)
-
bummer , why I didn“t think that... Thanks :)

Maybe order a book on the Typhoon if you really want some good info on camo schemes. Either that or purchase a scale model (1/72) they come with paint instructions as well as paint codes. Either option isnt expensive.
Try these guys: http://www.squadron.com/Index.htm
Just do a "typhoon" search.

No stripes on the last one, but its one of the three service test aircraft used by No.451 Sqn RAAF in 1943. An interesting bird in its own right :)

Thanks for the help! The second one with stripes seems best for me, its the most colorful-->easiest to see in the air.
Now back to installing those pneumatic retracts...
I have already maidened the plane, but during taxiing from last landing one LG folded and broke.

Beware some are incacurate like the white nosed one ,this one was seen only on pre-bubble canopy typhoon

There must be some good scemes of Pierre Closterman's "Grand Charles" around.

Except it was a Tempest not a Typhoon ;)

The large drawing Treize69 posted is not a Typhoon with 'invasion stripes'. The number of stripes gives this away.

HF-L of #183, a bubble canopy Typhoon, has a white spinner. Other pics show a white spinner on bubble canopy Typhoons.

I'm not speaking of the spinner but the whole nose (well ... "capot moteur" is clearer but I dunno the translation)
-
Just out of curiosity, what is so appealing about the Tempest and Typhoon? Doesnt that intake under the prop look ugly?!? Anyway, can we see some pictures of your RC?

I thought of that after but I could not edit.

Here is a link to a thread which has some pics and 3 video shots.

I have made little progress after the last flight. Changed undercarriage and now it operates by pneumatics. Works a lot better and I managed to lose the noseballast too, so it is easier to balance. Now I have to desing and fit wheel well doors and install exhausts. Then to paint shop and its pretty much done.

Late to the party but will post some profiles from Chris Shores 2nd Tactical Air Force book that has lots of Tiffies when the Picture Hanger comes back on line.
Also suggest a great book on Canadian Tiffies called "Typhoon and Tempest-The Canadian Story" by High Halliday.
Great photos and stories in particular from the D-Day and beyond time frame when the bubble top Tiffies were on the continent.
