Title: help with vox on new pooter

Hi folks, anybody have any experience with HD Audio  ALC882 audio controllers?  (it's onboard sound). Can't seem to get my vox up and running on the new pooter.

On the plus side though, I am running at 1024 and the hires pack with all sliders to detail and animated water. Getting FR's in the low 60's to 75 :D

help with Vox would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure the microphone is set to be the recording device for sound in Windows, by default it is not.

Skuzzy, it seems i am too dumb to find that.  I tried to reset it but it doesn't seem to have that option?  I know I'm doing something wrong. Just don't know where to look.

But..I really do love you guys (and gals!)

would  my DX Diag help?
