Title: What do you guys and gal's fly to?
Post by: Husky01 on August 27, 2006, 04:34:48 PM: Just was wondering what some peaple fly to for instence do you like music in the back round..........tv on accros the room...........family having fun in the other room...or even just listing to your squad mess around on vox?????

I my self like to litsen to Danger Zone"Top Gun" or "Shot threw the heart" by Bon Jovi:)

Post by: 68Turbo on August 27, 2006, 06:20:39 PM: I almost always have the military channel on in my room like 20 feet to my right, so barely so I can hear it, then I sometimes put my iTunes soundtrack on in the background very low just so I can barely hear that, and my squadies, not on squad nights, mess around on vox as well. Yes, very complicating. :D :aok :rofl

It is soft enough to allow me hear sounds, but loud enough to keep me on the hats. I enjoy the music, but I have excellent SA becuase of listening to it.

You guys may not have heard it yet but that's what my wife screams to me every night when she hears the rumble from my subwoofer. For some reason the puffy ack from the waffle soundpack really lights her up.:lol

I also always have the military channel on and muted with captions unless it's hockey season and then i'm watching a game every night.:D

:lol Bucky I know that tune and I can name it two notes :aok . My wife sings a slightly different song though, "Shut the hell up I'm Trying to sleep!". And I wear headphones :eek: . its mostly me, the volumn starts out low and then later I'm yelling "Break right Ody!!" "I'm draggin, somebody come bag em" "#$@#!!%$, watch out, he's goin for the ho!! ^$&#%#" :lol

I fly in a "Purple Haze" sometimes. But if it has to be a Bon Jovi tune then its gotta be "Blaze of Glory" (Shot down). or "Blood on Blood".

I think "Where eagles fly" (Sammy Hagar) would probably go nicely with a lift off of a mission. Only to lead into Hearts "Shell Shock" as the 163's descend down upon us.

On long defensive GV missions with HC43S, SimjoAce and myself being the only surviving (and sometimes smoking) Gv's on a base staring at 3 boxes of 24's headin our way I may queue up Billy Joels "Goodnight Siagon" ("... and we will alll go dowwwnnnn togetherrrrr.")

In the event I get about 4+ red guys chasing me down to the deck I prefer dodging bullets and tree-limbs to Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild"
