My screen resolution is 2048x768, which works great for
most every display screen in AH. One problem: The clip board
comes up HUGE and goes off the screen.
This is no problem in most areas because one can shrink
it down to size. But in the hanger the clip board fills the
screen and goes off the screen. There is no way to get the
mouse pointer up the sizing area or to move the clipboard down.
One possible fix: Is it possible to shrink the clipboard using a
keyboard command?
Cheers! Just discovered AH ... way cool!

At the top of the clipboard there are a few icons you can use, specifically the + and - at the top right, to resize it.

I think ajax means the + and - are off the screen.
If so than go to your HTC program file and find Aces High 2. Find the Settings folder within it. Inside that find clipHanger. Open it with wordpad and change the Z position to 1.800000 or more if it's already close to that. The bigger the number the farther away it will appear.
Then X out and save when asked. Go into the game and adjust by mouse to what you want. It may reset later with version changes but the bigger question is why run a res that cuts your view short? You may need to adjust your screen or choose another resolution.
Anything that deminishes your gathering intel on an apponent can't be good for your servivabilaty.

Thanks for the help and for the nice welcome.
There is no clipHANGER.cfg file in my settings folder, but I dropped the
resolution down to 1024 x 768 which made the hanger clipboard
visable. I shrank it down and then went back to 2048 x 768.
Eureka! !:D It remembered the shrunk down size. Solved.
RSLQK186: I haven't flown combat yet so thanks for advice about
visability. I'm using a projector system that is about 10 foot wide
on the wall - it seems like I can see the drones pretty well. If I have
trouble I will try lower resolution.

now THAT'S a gaming screen:aok :O

I suspect that now that you changed it from default the file exists. But figguring out your own work around is easyer to remember anyway.
Oh, and my curiosity about your avitar is quenched.:)

Oh wow.
Might wanna have the number of a chiropractor handy!
-
a screen like that and you're using a logi-junk 3d extreme???

Hey now! Don't be making fun of my joystick! :furious
(cool forum, LePaul, I am checking it out)

i've had 3 of them and they have all been spiky right out of the box...they use cheap pots

Spot on, Buzkill! They're junk. Switched to a Saitek soon after that photo.
I also just lowered the screen to eye-level to avoid needing a chiropractor. :)
(Having to constantly look upwards is not too great after a while.)
Been trying to learn the radio, maps, squads, countries etc. Holy Cow! :huh
