Title: Range Squelch FR
Post by: T0J0 on August 30, 2006, 09:22:45 AM
An option to Squelch range channel activety without having to search a handle and click an option during flight would be a great feature.
A dot command would be really nice way to accomplish it?!.

Thanks for any consideration!

I know its not the same, but you can squelch with .squelch GameID.

Both. There is a limit to how many people you can squelch at one time, and if those folks relog, you have to squelch them again.

Range/Tuned channel biasing and a permanent squelch list would be fantastic.

Why not just turn your vox volume all the way down and use team speak or the like for squad comms...?

Actually thats a great idea in many ways, I hadn't really noticed that feature, its been so long since I set vox volume...
Every time I log in I have to remap stick settings so I guess since I spent so much time doing that rather then just flying I missed the obvious...
It isn't always that squelch range is needed though, but more and more lately the Hank Hill chat sessions on range is irritating enough to just log out...
Thanks Mussie
