Title: Stupid pill
Post by: MAG1C on August 30, 2006, 01:17:11 PM
Registration for these scenarios always seems to be a problem for me.  Maybe someone is slipping a stupid pill into my coffee.

Once again the registration system wont let me in.  I type in my user name (MAG1C) and it doesn't recogmize my password.  I try the lost password approach and it says another user is already using my e-mail address.  I've tried all the user names I might have used but still no joy.

Looks like I may have to sit out this BOB scenario (and future scenarios).  :(

Clear your cookies. Go back in. Try the retrieve password thing again.

Magic, just to make sure the process is being followed, let's back up a step.

You Don't have to Register on AHEVENTS more than once.  If you Already Registered for the last event, then you simply have to Log Into AHEVENTS then join the BoB event, your information is already in there.

PM me the username / email address you think you were registered under.  I will reset your password and send it to you in a reply PM.  Or indicate what issues there are.

I see a user who has a name of "MAG1C" but their userame is not the same.  If you confirm your email address, I can either
1. change the username to be "MAGIC"
or
2. tell you what the current username is.

Thanks for the help!  I cleared my browser cookies and then was able to use "lost password" to get a new one. (Still don't know why my last password was lost when I trieds to login the first time.  Anyway, I guess I'm all set until the next scenario.  ;-)  )
