I've been reading about this bill for a while now on http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/mt/archives/007928.php and it turns out it might actually make it to the floor. This bill is a long time comming in providing transparancy to govt spending. Basically what it boils down to is "A bill to require full disclosure of all entities and organizations receiving Federal funds." No more hiding $150 million bridges to 5 poeple that live on an island in the middle of nowhere.
Before anyone gets all red-blue on me this bill is sponsered by Coburn-Obama so it's fairly bi-partison.
Anyhow when it comes down to it contact your senator and let them know how you feel about it.Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (http://www.cbo.gov/showdoc.cfm?index=7483&sequence=0&from=6)

The President of the Senate will never allow it to pass.

Why isnt it that way now? If someone doesnt allow it to pass fire the sob!

If it doesn't pass, fire the entire senate. At the end of a gun.
