For those interested in what Track IR is and how it functions in AH the following link brings you to 4 movies.

The last one has an inset of the guys Head while you see the AH film playing, so you can see how the Track IR works in game.

You will see how you can look around the cockpit, get the best 6 views,  and zoom in on the site etc....

Wow.. very impressive!

 To be honest, to me it seems that the immersion facor of being inside the cockpit is much higher in AH than IL2/FB when used with Track IR. Probably because AH uses full 3D cockpits whereas IL2/FB uses quasi-3D 'facades'.

 I gotta get me one of those...

FWIW...

I can't recommend this highly enough.  It's a tremendous addition to the game.  It can also do wonders for improving your SA.  You spend more time focussed on your target, and less time on flipping hat switches.  Speaking of which, it also frees up those switches for other functions.

It's a bit pricey, but worth every nickel.  Also, I've never had a moments trouble with it.

Put it on your Christmas list now.

(Geeze..I oughta sell this thing on commission or something... :D )

TrackIR is terrific.  For those of you who are using a projection screen
the TrackIR camera can be placed behind the pilots seat.  It's flexible
and a great virtual reality device.  Wouldn't be without it.

Does anyone use "voice buddy"?  Been wondering if I should put that
on the purchase list.

Usin a projector eh! wow, i used one a couple times at a friends house for ah, I almost crapped myself. Freakin costly damnit.
