Hi all,
I have a couple of questions I would like to know more about.
1) What and how do you setup Mission Frames ( I am guessing this is the proper terminology for it)
2) I have seen alot of posts concerning "Snapshot", I would also like to know what that means as well. Example, in a post dated on 8/24/06 by wasq concerning the "Tigers over Rangoon" event. wasq said the following "Today's Snapshot will be Tigers over Rangoon."
THanks very much in advance.
*** EDIT ***
Ok I didn't see the Forum area for Snapshots. I have read that and understand them. Just would like help with #1 above.

1) Missions are run in the Main Arena and can be submitted by any player. Read here (http://www.hitechcreations.com/ahhelp/missions.html) on how to accept an already posted mission or how to create your own one.
2) Snapshots are short (few hours) one frame events that recreate historic battles. They usually have a fixed planeset with rules that are specific for each Snapshot. They are run twice a week: Wednesday at 10 pm eastern and Thursday at 3 pm eastern (8 pm GMT - Euro-Snapshot) by the CM team in the Special Events Arena (SEA). Check them out, they are usually much fun. You dont have to register or anything, just go there about 10 minutes early, make yourself known and join the fun.

Schatzi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
However I have another question pertaining to the Frames.
I noticed alot of them have Frame1, Frame2, and Frame3. What is the differences of these frames and what determines what Frames are what?
Sorry for the noob question's. Just wanting to understand alot of this stuff as I have never heard this before.
THanks in advance.

Dont worry about asking Goose - those who dont ask never learn.
So keep 'em coming :).
Those Events that have multiple frames are Scenarios. They are on a much larger scale then the weekly snapshot and held 4 or 5 times a year. While some of them also take on "walk ons" (ie players that didnt register and just show up for a frame) you generally need to register for those. The COs of the sides need to know how big their forces are to be able to whip up a battle plan.
The next Scenario is going to be "Battle of Britain" - check the Battle of Britain 2006 General forum for info. On the AHevents site (http://ahevents.org/site/content/view/122/153/) you can find more info on what the scenario is about. Its also where you need to register if you choose to take part in the fun. As frames are held in the Special Events Arena, you need to have an active subscription for online play to register for an event. Youll also need to get an account at the AHEvents main site first. Make sure you BBS handle and ingameID are included in your profile, so the COs know who you are when you register.
