I keep on forgetting about google book search. Some pretty cool stuff on there, some books downloadable pdf wise. You have to search "full view books" for those.
Ran across this one: Combat Chronology: 1941-1945, which is a complete listing off all US Army Airforces from 1941-1945. It pretty much contains all combat / mission synopsis on a day to day basis.

Craven and Cates' detailed history of USAAF ops in WWII and Carter and Mueller's Combat Chronology are available free in .pdf format. Also, there's a ton of other really good historical material as well. Bookmark the site.
